LOL. I have purchased zero games. There's nothing that runs native on the Quest that I want to play. But $30 is expensive for a game? It's a different generation, I guess. Even as a kid, I routinely spent that much on video games for my PC. I bought the Quest 2 merely because Windows killed Windows Mixed Reality, and I regularly play Elite Dangerous and Star Wars Squadrons. I've been in Elite Dangerous every since the Windows Mixed Reality headsets came out (the Acer was my chosen unit...until MS got stupid and killed WMR). Also, I just don't get watching other people play video games. That's like watching other people play sports (I hate sports). If I can't do it, I have no interest watching other people do it. Bottom line, the Quest 2 so far is an acceptable replacement for my Acer WMR headset...it handles the two games I actually want to play, which is all I really care about. I would have had to give both games up, otherwise (once you've played them in VR, going back to 2D is just lame).

I'm clearly an outlier. I have VR for only one reason: Elite Dangerous and Star Wars Squadrons. As it is, the only games I am interested are first-person shooters/flying sim. No other games are of any interest to me. There's nothing that runs native on the Quest 2 that would drive me to use it in stand alone. Also, other than other players in ED or Squadrons, I never had a desire to seek out other people to network with. Also, the controllers are of no use to me, either, since ED and Squadrons are seated games. I'm just glad the Quest 2 was only $200. It works very well with both games I play, even if it's a bit annoying having to deal with the extra layer of software that I didn't need to deal with when I relied on Windows Mixed Reality headsets. That being said, I love your advice on cleaning as well as keeping the headset out of sunlight. Also, I plan on looking into replacement straps, since I hate the over-the-head strap (I LOVED everything about the Acer WMR headset).

Into the radius might be scary sometimes but once you complete the game and buy a scar you can just commit hate crimes against any enemy in the game.

You should have mentioned HOW to clean it, because if you clean it with anything wet it rubs off the lenses anti fog agent, THAT is the biggest mistake imo, because everything else can be reversed easily other than the lens burnout from sunlight.
