Brother I am planning for the PowerTronic ECU setup for my RS 200. Is it really worth the money?? Like how much performance is upgraded in the bike if you could explain me with any before and after difference...btw nice videos man, keep up the good work👍

Hey man. Thanks for the comment. I appreciate it. Regarding the the Powertronic ECU, for the RS 200, the performance gain does not seem significant. Because, all it does is adjust fueling of the engine. So, the the power gain might be minimum, but what will change is the way fuel is delivered. Throttle response will become more crisp and power delivery will be linear. Regarding the before and after, with the stock Bajaj factory ECU, there is more bottom end to mid range power (2,000 to 6,000 Rpm). With the Powertronic ECU, there is more mid range to top end power (5,000 Rpm till red line). Which means that the bike will start pulling properly after say 5,000 Rpm. The bottom end power is gone! Like really gone! This top end power gain makes the bike really enjoyable at high revs and this combined with the quickshifter means there far less power loss during gear shifts. So, even more fun. So, this constant high rev top end fun means fuel mileage will take a hit. Once you get Powertronic ECU, it is hard to ride sensibly. Top speed increased from 146 Kmph on the Bajaj ECU to 154 Kmph with the Powertronic ECU. The bike started wobbling at 152 Kmph because of a sudden dip in road surface. Note that I weight around 80+ Kilos. If you're lighter, it'll go even higher and faster. Is it worth 18,000 Rs ECU (31,000 Rs with quickshifter) for a 200cc motorcycle? I can't really say because I don't see it that way. That'll be upto you to decide. I bought the RS with the intention of getting ECU and more importantly the quickshifter. I bought it to make the 200cc engine have a good throttle response and just make it more lively and fun. So, I hope my respose will help you decide on whether to invest on the ECU or not. Cheers!

What are your thoughts about rs200? And mileage you're getting

Hey man. RS200 is a good motorcycle for city as well as highway riding. Maneuverable in city traffic and comfortable on long rides. I ride slightly fast most of the time, hence the fuel mileage I get will usually be around 32 Kmpl in city. You can easily get more than that if you ride sensibly (gentle accelerations with gear shifts around 6,000 Rpm). The only downside of the RS (as well as all Bajaj motorcycles) is build quality. Somehow I feel the RS is built to a lesser standard than the Pulsar 220 that I had previously owned.
