How long does it take for the script to run? I followed your instructions and the written ones to a t but when I press launch game it just keeps me in a spinning steam loading screen for a while. Did I do something wrong?

Should be as long as it takes for the handheld to restart and boot into Windows. I don't remember the first run taking any more time than now.

I just ran the chmod with +X instead of +1 but it’s still taking forever to reboot and in fact it crashes

Ok I removed it from my dock and tried it with +X again, didn’t work, the. I did it with +1, didn’t work, I feel like I’m missing a step or I’m not enabling something to allow this to work right

I'm not sure about your first question, but you can use Xbox Gamepass Ultimate on the ROG Ally X. It's a Windows PC Handheld.

Thanks for the video. Have you checked if your version is a clone? Seen some videos comparing real and fake and yours looks very similar to the clones.

I looked into it and I'm not sure. But, I am leaning more towards it being a fake because of the lack of Wi-Fi functionality, even with a dongle.

I dont know maybe my luck isn't as good but I've now replaced mine 4 times with these gulikit hall effect sensor joycons and both sets only lasted a month or a few weeks of occasional use. They either stopped being to be depressed or went dead on the right or left all together. I'd prefer oe tbh

After 3 years of hardcore gaming all a sudden my PS5 is having overheat issues. Worst part is i took it to a repair shop and they deemed it good to go, lasted 3 days before the issue was back. Idk what to do. This is absurd. Shame on Sony. PS5 is the new Xbox 360. Get the word out.

I got a RG35XX+ so I am not concerned with playing games under the PS1 to be honest. so I am looking to get all my ROMS for PS1,PS2, and GameCube (and really the N64) onto a handheld emulator. ideally a vertical one. and I refuse to spend $400+ for the Pocket DMG by Ayaneo :( ... even though its so damn good looking! and powerful frankly lol but I feel like Anbernic will release something similar to the 406V but just more powerful here in the future. heres hoping!

Since I got my Ally x it’s been a game changer. I travel a lot for work and just couldn’t get into my switch because of the games, but now with the Ally x. Being able to play BG3, or Cyberpunk on the go and still use my ps5 game files. Life changing. Expensive yes, but worth it.

I travel a lot for work as well. Probably not as much as you, but I typically take 5-10 trips a year for work. Having a handheld like this one is honestly awesome.

@@Veemack21 you would need a dock. Just make sure the game has cross saves. Those are the only games that are able to be transferred, or you can stream is through PlayStation remote play. But you need good wifi.

AFAIK Lossless Scaling isn’t supported on anything other than Windows. Worth noting.

I’m having trouble with the rog charging dock not displaying anything on my TV intermittently. I’ve tried several HDMI cables but I can’t get it to work as intended. The desktop displays fine, as do a lot of games but for some reason some games like Tekken 7 just won’t work at all. I’ve ordered a HDMI 2.1 certified quality cable to see if that helps.
