This is the type of game that nobody would persevere with today. But back in 1987, games were scarcer, so you would be stuck with stuff like that.

I had this game as a kid, and I could not figure out at all how to properly play it. Came in a bundle of 10 games and I loved all the others, but this one made no sense to me even with the instructions in the manual.

The special attacks make more sense than in the sega version!

The reviews at the time this came out were HARSH - I couldn't understand why. Now I know why.

"How high can you get?" For computer with the RAM and power of the C64, you would think they could add the intermissions.

I don't know why, but this version of the game is in my opinion the best one. It has something that the 16-bits version (Amiga, Atari ST) are not able to transpose (maybe it is the SID music?)

I could never even make it to two minutes. This was a HARD game.

Just to answer a question that hasn't been answered yet-- The player is playing a cracked version done by the European crack group JEDI. Pauline is shouting 1103, a member's name of that crack group.

The cover to this game with the ghost reflection in the bubble is creepy AF.

This is an interesting game. It would also be pretty interesting and unique to have a game's character in a bubble as an interesting mechanic.

I think Keith Tinman is not the composer of this soundtrack , it's probably a japanese composer originally from Data East

Never played this, but I did play Gradius and Life Force, which came out before it on the NES and it was obviously based on.
