Thats complete BS. Most women are after resources and they will choose any man with resources. The things that women are willing to overlook in a man for access to his resources will make your head spin.

I should have quit my job years ago but the years ticked by and ticked by and I sat comfortably numb until the comfort of being numb became painful but I continued sitting in my familiar pain and let it rot my soul and eat my from the inside out. I finally quit a few days ago and I’m trying to remember who I am. It’s not so easy at 35…

Google is not what it used to be. People makes claims about lowest I.Q. to be able to keep a job but I have yet to find the data used for the claims. It is like nobody ever heard of a link before.

The problem with these reserches is: Women lie. They lie about their selectiveness. We all know that! Women tend to say one thing and go after another... We all have seen this kind o thing.

There's so much to consider here, in ways that I hadn't considered it before. Is income inequality being driven by technology - in addition to taxation and capatilism practices? Are genetics keeping poor people poor? Are there ways in which we (as a society) can overcome genetics? There's a funny saying that I love, "when you compensate for lack of understanding with effort and hard work, there is no end to what you cannot accomplish." The whole conversation is reminiscent of the movie "Gattaca"

Where is the advice for the smartest guy in the room. Most jobs don't hire on merit. The last job I applied to I said I have 20 years teaching experience, I've written a book and I'm fluent in Spanish, is there anywhere you could use that in this company. The response was "We CAN'T JUST make a postioin for you. . . " You are overlooking raw intelligence and gatekeeping. My IQ is somewhere north of 130, but I have no degree. WIthout a degree, no one cares what you know or how smart you are.

This video is interesting but subjective. It's important to remember that the ability to question the credibility of information is a skill generally utelised by people who have higher IQs. It is also a skill that can be used often to increase your intelligence. Some food for thought: the term "information" is a product of being informed, it does not always mean fact. Truth is also subjective to one's perspective and we must be mindful in determining what we believe and question how much information is objectively proven. We must decifer whether we have obtained a broad enough scope of information to rely upon and whether the information was collected from a variety of sources. We all have the potential to become smarter than we are now. We all have the ability to do stupid things :)

I certainly haven't made the most of my potential, intelligence included...and no, IQ is NOT set. Even potential changes with a variety of factors, and as you reach former potential, it rises again. Someone with good intelligence and/or wisdom will be able to understand that. Currently, I drive a dump truck for a foundational construction company. I sleep so little, due to anxiety, that it can be difficult to even speak(yes, completely sleep related). Even in my state...it appears I may be the most intelligent person at the company. Well beyond most management even with their years of experience. I would only acknowledge two others as having good intelligence. Most drivers aren't overly bright, but some are great at what they do due to experience. I imagine a few are better than Bill Gates would be... I'll make $35/hr, around $2,200 per week, this coming year. That allows me to save over 1k most weeks. I get benefits and a pension. There are other factors as to why I choose to do this apart from money or IQ... If I wanted to make use of my intelligence in this field, I certainly could. Simply buying my own truck puts me around 140k+ per year AFTER expenses while retaining the benefits and pension. I could easily begin with 3 brand new trucks. That clears around 250k per year if I only ran them 1 shift...and that's just the beginning! To make that kind of money working for someone else requires a pretty rare opportunity... The field you're in, or should be, isn't all about IQ. I understand the general meaning of his presentation, but it is narrow sighted. I do believe the positional IQ recommendations presented are accurate for most of the workers at the company I work for.

This is never acknowledged. When i was a single mother (still am i guess but they're 21 and 18) everybody helpfully suggested i earn more money. I tried. Luckily i had the common sense to value security. I haven’t had to budget for losing my job and chaos every 12-18 month's. My iq is 116 so i shouldn't be so hard o myself for not having succeeded conventionally.

That was before AI, now it doesn't matter if you know how to use a computer and do code, the AI do for you, and its just the beginning, actually a lot of people on the tech field says it's not a good idea anymore to learn to code. The only person that is going to have a job in software and IT in the near future is the people that make the AI.

After 10 years, I left the engineering field and pursued business operations management. It was hard because I had to go back to school and didn’t work for 2 years. During this transition I discovered that my mind was wired to problem solving, which goes hand in hand in operations. I integrate what I learned from engineering and fast forward, I am now the director of expanding a small franchise. The fact is, a lot of what I do on now a daily basis is very similar to engineering. Funny how things come full circle. I am blessed to say I love what I do now.

People are always telling me they have an IQ in the 150s but when I ask them what they do for a living, it's always some low IQ entry level position. Unskilled labor or service job. I own a consulting firm in the biotch and pharmaceutical industry but stated off as a janitor with a GED. I don't even have a STEM degree but run CapEx projects in the hundreds of $millions. IQ (cognitive ability) is crucial for working in tech. What jobs will be available for the millions of unskilled illegal immigrants coming from countries with very low average IQ scores and very low education standards? Can someone name a successful country with an average IQ score below 90?

This is not true at all. Ive met the dumbest people who succeed at the highest level. Ive also met the smartest people with the emotional intelligence of a rock. Often i find the most intelligent people become annoyed with the corporate games and more content to stay at a level which does not seek to drain their mental resources allowing them time and energy to create their own path.

I scored a 138. I hated school because it was boring. I was very quiet in class and didn't want to look like a nerd. I left HS and got a job working for my dad and his partners business they had bought two years prior. I got really good at problem solving and organizing products in the WHS. I hated being in a lower management position. Because I am on the spectrum and hated reprimanding hourly employees. We were bought out by a huge company. I was promised an upper management job that would've allowed me to keep my distance from day to day employee BS. Corporate life was not for me. Our customers suffered, and i spoke up about it and was fired. Best thing that could've happened. Now I drive a big rig. I work in a specialized field that allows me to problem solve. Flexible schedule. Pay is great and my boss is a really good guy. Twenty more years and I'll be retired with a very nice retirement and my morals, ethics & dignity. In hindsight, I would've been a great defensive lawyer. After being a jury member and sitting through a trial. I know I would've loved doing that as a career. If I could've stuck with the school/testing requirements.
