Thank you!! I appreciate it. 🥰 On me, since I spray quite a bit, it lasts the whole day. But after about 6 hours ish it becomes closer to skin but still noticeable. It’s not a powerhouse of an Oud for sure.

Your description is lovely! My favorite oud roses are Cartier’s Oud & Rose, Dior’s Oud Ispahan, and Maison Francis Kurkdjian’s Oud Satin Mood. But it’s not a profile I wear often, so I only have decants of each of them. ❤

Have you tried Oud Palao from Diptyque? It’s so interesting! I’m tempted to get a bottle of it once my travel spray is gone. It smelled just like Oud & Rose at first, even comparable to Oud Ispahan but last night I tried it again after a long time away from it and I could detect so many more facets! Now it smells so different than Oud Ispahan! Loving it

@@sebastianfurtado3740 I’ve heard Oud Palao is good! Diptyque doesn’t normally excite me, but I will sample the next time I am in a boutique… Diptyque has 4 standalone stores in LA if you can believe it - alongside counters in Nordstrom, Neimans, etc.

I tried this 5 weeks ago and got a sample with a recent purchase. Its nicely done but nothing exciting. I was hoping for some horsey narcissus in this one with the backstory.

Indeed! It doesnt add anything “NEW” to the Oud wheel for sure. I guess I was excited for it because I really wanted to see how she would work it with the Hermès DNA and for being an Hermès lover, that alone was enough for me. 😂 I didn’t create any expectations but I had a feeling it would be as it is. Classically French I guess. I’ve put a big dent in it already 🙈
