So true! Sad to see what greed does to people :( Really wish there would be laws against those breeders as it is nothing but animal cruelty

Thank you for the video. This, as heartbreaking as it is, happens all the time. Thank you for speaking out about it. 😔

Agreed with your view on euthanasia. It's the same view I provided to my wife, when we had to euthanize our senior rabbit, a Californian male. Due to old age, he experienced crippling arthritis, and as a result, he stopped eating. Stasis set in, an often fatal condition for herbivorous rabbits. After we went over our not-so-good treatment options, I requested my vet, who specializes in exotics, schedule a euthanization. My vet granted that request, and his justification for doing so is that treatment in reversing the stasis would in all probability fail. Our vet did not want to see our rabbit suffer. My wife was upset, because this rabbit has been in her life longer than I have. She raised him from a baby to adulthood. It was hard for her to agree with my request. To ease her pain, I stated that, while us humans can't elect to get peaceful passings due to unjust laws, our animal friends can. And that we can make the choice (or not causing suffering) to provide him a pain-free experience across the rainbow bridge - a bridge that many like to believe animals cross. Upon getting our rabbit to his appointment, anesthetics were administered. With the knowledge that rabbits enjoy specific music for relaxation, I played him one of his favorite songs on low (sensitive ears... he's a rabbit). Holding his head in my head, the final medication was administered. He starred into my eyes as he passed, and I was the last person he saw. It was a bittersweet moment. I was sad to lose him, because he taught me to appreciate rabbits, an often neglected, abused, under appreciated specie. I got very close to him a year prior to his passing. On the other hand, I was happy to provide him a pain-free, quick passing while with those he loves whilst listening to his favorite song. Expanding on your most disliked aspect of being a veterinarian, my biggest issue with humanity: breeding animals for the sole purpose of profit for 'pet' ownership. I am guilty of buying a pet from a store, and have since vowed to never make the same mistake again. Thanks for sharing your answer with us all.

This is just one reason why I choose to adopt dogs from a shelter, and would never go to a breeder. They're sick in the head.
