Great channel love the content! Hasbro Canada acquired the original molds from Hasbro USA, and were used alongside standard molds in Canada. This is why we have so many early mold figures well into the Adventure Team line.

Loved this episode(and the series as a whole), no notes! Would love to see you guys do a similar rundown on the European female figures and sets. For future episodes, I’d love to see variation comparisons(like the boot focused episodes). If you guys are willing to go a bit farther afield, I’d love to see episodes focused on the higher quality vintage/KO competitors for GI Joe, like Tommy Gunn, Action Star Hardy, Dynaman, etc. Looking forward to more from you guys!

Some of the Canadian Muscle Body Joes have the Euro markings (the longer embossed markings) just like the Polistil, Action Team (Schildkot) or the Ceji figures. The torso connector inside the pelvis have that disc that the US Muscle bodies do not have. That being said, I have seen some Canadian Muscle bodies that are just like the US style, with different feet and the Hasbro logo in back.

I have noticed this as well. I can’t help but think it all came down to current supply at the factory, and perhaps when Hasbro Canada was running low, they had supplies brought in from other vendors to get through busy schedules. It certainly created a wealth of variations in the line.

I have a Canadian made, blond haired, foreign soldier. He is dressed up in a Group Action Joe stormtrooper uniform. He looks very badass!

One of the things I noticed as a kid back in 1974 when my mom went to K-Mart was that I took all of the different Joes they had and I put them all in order so that someone could get all of them together at one go. But when I looked at the GiJoe book showing the figures that were released there was more than just the 4 Sea, Land, Air Adventurer and Man of Action. Because I had 8 different ones including the black one. There also was an accessory set that I've never seen in any of the books showing the sets put out there, but I got it for Christmas and I know some of the parts were from the Secret Mission to Spy Island but it didn't come with a raft or the outfit for that whole set it had a bunch of other things,

Great video. I did have the Canadian mounting when I was a kid. I do not know what happened to the figure but I still have the uniform which is still in pretty good condition. How about if do a series on different uniform sets and accessories or vehicles. Looking forward to next series if so.

Love and appreciate these videos. They're great for inspiration.. to do further research on my own. It's not up to you guys to have all the information. A topic I do need help with is identifying a knock-off, especially with the wide variations of uniforms. Unless they have the tag it can be a challenge. Most of the equipment is pretty easy to ID as a knock off. Thank you for these excellent videos.

The Simpsons-Sears Mountie came with both the Foreign and American head sculpt, and the French language Adventure Team Commander had both the nose-picker hands and Kung Fu Grip. For some reason, only the caucasian version spoke French.

I have a 1974 Black talking commander, with a French talking mechanism, but most likely was a rebuild from the Caucasian figure. I can tell he's been rebuilt. KFG hands also

⁠​⁠@@Black_Patriot-Veteran-1970i have yet to come across such a figure, and yes most likely a rebuild. The only way to truly confirm is to check the talking string for tampering. If it has the factory pressing on the string tip, then perhaps it is real? Of course there is always the situation where the a factory ran out of caucasian bodies and used an African American.

Canadian Muscle Bodies have different feet, black rubber in the legs and the pelvis/torso attachment is completely different than US MBs. In fact, the Canadian pelvis/torso attachment is superior. All of mine still have tight legs, unlike the loose, wobbly US versions.

Hasbro Canada released at least 2 different versions of the muscle body, the “European” disk type body, and the typical “US” type body. The “European” type bodies’ when being serviced for new joints, need to have the shoulder areas widened to accommodate the repair joints.
