My crackpot theory on what happened to our beloved Gentleman: He got into the dome, killed, his soul gobbled up by Zoraal Ja during the Everkeep trial leedup, and his Memory aether is in Living Memory still somehow. And by just being Hildibrand, he can come back to the source just fine because he is so awesome.

Hildibrand and Noir/1920s detective novels would have been enough of a winning formula, but adding the "hardboiled" bit to the usual ridiculousness immediately made me think of Señor Pink. You need to update your description Jesse. With the arrival of the Dawn Trail expansion, Final Fantasy XIV has opened up the free trial to include Storm Blood. Though not as well received as Heavenward, Storm Blood allows a ton of more content, as well as new players to reach level 70!

See, I didn't like pre-Stormblood Hildebrand, as it's humor wasn't my cup of tea and it just doesn't feel the same as current HIldebrand. But during and after Stormblood it grew on me, and I found the EW chain mostly enjoyable. Having seen this? I am really looking forwards towards more!
