I will never understand women, like Kelvins wife. What does she gain from trapping him in a loveless marriage? He will only ever resent her and hate her, even if he chooses to stay because of their son. And she might succeed in breaking him and Archie up - but the man works in a bar! He will take any chance, he gets, to cheat - and never ever touch her again. Not even give her as much, as a kind word!

Yup, I was right about Kelvins wife... This sort of story pops up frequently, and I know that something similar happens irl as well. What I don't get, is what these girls think they will gain? Yes, they got married and had a kid - but he never loved her! He never, ever will. And she will always know, that was it not for her evil manipulations - he would not have looked at her twice! Let me make it worse, in case any girls, crushing on a gay guy, read this! Every time they are together(...), he is picturing HIM in his mind - not her! And what kind of a sad life is that? She will never experience actual love, and someone WANTING her! Anything, she gets from him, is out of his kindness and pity! Because his heart belongs to someone else! And I can promise you, that he will go elsewhere, looking for love, too, even if his love does not return. Because she does not have, what he craves! So... Be smart, and leave the cute gays alone!

It looks like the love of Kelvins life just returned... And based on the look on his wifes face, she knew very well, who Archie was... I'm guessing their marriage is not really based on love, but probably more about a crazy girl, that wanted to be a wife, no matter what.... And Grandma??😂 Old people have been around the block a few times, and we don't give them enough credit! She knows her grandson very well, and recognized a good boy, that could maybe be a good match for him. She only wants a happy life for her grandson 😊

Archie needs to walk away from that situation. Gay men who marry women & have children are never going to be free to have the kind of relationship that is needed. Even here, Kelvin can't show Archie he would walk away from his wife. Archie... turn around. Don't keep going in this. I hate stating this, because I love the underdog in love stories, but this situation is toxic.

Marry who you love, not who everybody else says you are supposed to love. Worse, don't bring children into that situation. Kids are resilient, but it's really hard on them when one parent is bitter & angry at the other. I see this trainwreck coming fast with Kelvin. Honestly, as soon as Archie finds out Kelvin has a child with a woman, he needs to back away from this. Let Kelvin sort out his life first, if he even can. This is going to get ugly.

Why am I not surprised? Kelvin can change who he is but cannot change what he is, only another man can satisfy his physical and emotional needs. The woman, his wife, thinks she has won with the marriage and the child. No matter how many years they are together she will never have the close and loving intimate relationship she truly wants with her husband. Kelvin will come to resent her, dislike her, blame her for his unhappy life. Whatever feelings she had for Kelvin will slowly disappear no matter how hard she struggles to hold onto them. Kelvin will find another man or other men to satisfy his physical and emotional needs. What seems obvious but bears repeating, a man can change who he is but cannot change what he is, it is never good to deny one's true self.
