I love that you reuse pieces! You don’t promote over consumption and fast fashion. Anyone can grow a beautiful wardrobe like this over time if they just take the time to find and invest in good quality pieces or take the time to thrift them like I do. No I don’t get to get a wardrobe like this in a single haul but over the years I have built a wardrobe that will last and I’m always going to like. Thank you for promoting this mentality Lydia ❤

That's true. She's probably one of if not the only stylist I watch on KZbin that I notice reuse pieces and show you different ways to style them. Many fashionistas are pretty much showing you how to style the latest seasons fashion from each brand. It's one thing if they were mainly showing you different clothes form cheaper brands liek a forever21 or fashionova but many are showing you trendy items form high-end brands that I see them wear only once. Investing in quality classic pieces helps with having a good wardrobe overtime. ANd the stuff she recommends even if where she got it no longer has it, it's traditionally cut/designed items that you can find elsewhere.

I have seen a lot of her older videos and it’s so nice to see how she literally still has the same clothes and sandals from 4-5 years ago. Truly what a wardrobe should be.

When you are 40, it's also not so good looking. Women's arms are getting skinny and a chest is transparent with bones even if you in a good shape and weight.

Here's a fact I know when I visit Bali: they price it higher for foreigners and domestic tourists, but lower for locals (usually tourist spots), so I usually go in *hotdups* Go shopping.

I live close to the Mexico border. I always go for *hotdups* , their quality is great. Some of them are made with leather and really hard to tell the difference from real or not. Either way, it’s your choice. No judgement from me

Quite a few sellers on Etsy make sandals identical to Ancient Greek sandals at about a third of the price. I believe they are, actually, made in Greece. All leather and decent quality.

thank you Lydia and yes to wearing the same outfits multiple times -yes to quality outfits and sustainability!! we as a society are wasting too much of our planet resources. some parts of Europe right now have record high temperatures and some rivers have lost a lot of water and lots of animals suffer un-necessarily because of our excessive consumption habits.

Absolutely beautiful outfits, I like a lot this style but for long walking in hot temperatures I don’t find it comfortable, I tried but mostly shoes start to feel really uncomfortable after long walking of many kilometers on the other hand I am so bad posing to pictures

I loved all the outfits you wore but especially the Melissa Odabash one. I have been looking for a white bag and have been eyeing the BV one as it can be changed up with having a long strap. Can I ask do you find the opening awkward to get in and out as it looks quite small? I havent seen this bag in person and it is hard to judge by looking on the website. I really love your content and have for years. I'm hoping you will consider one piece of constructive criticism, meant very kindly. Your advice appears to be pitched very broadly, yet appears to be based pretty solely on your own experience. The challenge with this is that it leads to advice that just isn't true for the many it is pitched at. For example, "spaghetti straps are so easy to wear". My experience as a slim but large-busted person is the exact opposite - they're uncomfortable because they require a strapless bra which is often truly painful! I have anecdotally heard the same from many others with large busts. You of course can't have personal experience of every body shape as we are all different, but knowing this you may want to consider spending some time learning about different figures so you can qualify your advice and perhaps even offer alternatives. This would be incredibly valuable as you continue to address a broad audience. We all love your style (or we wouldn't be here,!) but thinking about how your style can truly be applicable to a broad audience would be greatly appreciated. Hope this is received in the spirit with which it is intended x

Not that it even matters. But Lydia wore every single one of those colors that according to you were Sicilian colors in her chosen pieces. But, sense when do we have to dress in certain colors that you say the country is about? I think we should wear what we feel comfortable in and be free to wear what ever our taste and style is.
