I wish we could be told what kind of imaging this is. I have extremely painful pressure in my head, neck, shoulder, and mouth with other extremely bizarre and painful symptoms for the past 7 years 24 hours a day. Apparently, regular MRIs dont show the kind of detail this imaging does with the ability to rotate the image. It would be so helpful to know what the imaging is so we could possibly request that type of imaging. I have been fighting to find an answer from so many doctors for the past 7 years and have just been dismissed and gaslighted.

Hi doc. What happens if someone has neck scoliosis, then atlas is going to be naturally lower on one side, right? Since scoliosis can not change in older years(as far as i heard) can atlas still be adjusted successfully? Do you recomend somebody in Europe that does this orthogonal alignments?

This man has CCI. He has textbook symptoms. He needs a DMX pronto. Would bet money he is unstable from C0 all the way to C3 at a minimum. Especially ligamentous instability at C1-C2, the havoc it can wreak is absolutely tremendous. All those cranial nerves get agitated, the brainstem gets bonked over and over, the intermittent intracranial hypertension......ugh! It's awful. Go get that DMX buddy! Thanks for another great video Dr. Middleton!

30 years later.. Side Impact ...The Aftermath A personal case of whiplash injuries. Atlas Axis misalignment Cervicalcranial Instability Atlantoaxial rotatory subluxation Protective Tortacolis Vertabral Artery disssection extra cranial Myeolopathy Spinal Stenosis Headaches/Aura Nervous system Neuromylitis Occipital nerves cfs leak Papilledema Optic nerves I will tell my story and let the outcome speak for itself. subluxation of the vertebra of the atlas adversely affects the entire musculoskeletal system The rotation does not manifest itself immediately, but over time it will inevitably make itself felt. Regardless of the reasons, the damage of C1 has a serious impact on the functioning of the musculoskeletal system, ligaments and tendons, the cardiovascular system, all body systems, causing diseases and disorders such as sciatica, cervical osteochondrosis, all kinds of pinching, pain in the neck, back, lumbar pain, protrusion and intervertebral hernia and even pain in the joints (due to the long stay of the spinal column in the wrong position and the uneven distribution of the load in the limbs). First, the pain caused by subluxation can be associated with muscle overload, then pain already appears due to protrusions, and damage (injury) to the intervertebral discs can occur due to their incorrect position relative to each other. Often the result of subluxation is scoliosis, there is pain in the coccyx or the whole back hurts. The occipital part of the neck is always tense. Often, curvature of the spinal column and protrusion of the vertebrae due to a displaced atlas in the cervical region is visible to the naked eye. An elderly subluxation always affects the functioning of the vessels of the head. Mechanical compression of the arteries sooner or later leads to a deterioration in the blood supply to the brain. VBI (vertebro-basilar insufficiency, vertebro-basilar syndrome, vertebro-basilar arterial system syndrome) develops. This is manifested in neuro-sensory disturbances, impaired vision and hearing, dizziness, headaches, the appearance of "flies" in front of the eyes with sudden movements. With constricted vessels that feed the brain, the risk of stroke increases significantly, the central nervous system malfunctions, blood pressure rises, weather dependence appears, often there is tinnitus, numbness of the hands, runny nose and nasal congestion, shortness of breath and even asthma. Fatigue, poor memory, poor adaptation to increased loads, and unstable gastrointestinal tract function. The medulla is located in the spinal canal. The subluxation of C1 can directly or indirectly affect its operation, and this will lead to a change in intracranial pressure, the level of activity of the brain and a malfunction in the work of internal organs. Also in the craniovertebral joint (the area where the head joins the neck), there are many blood vessels that feed the brain, including the vertebral artery. When they are crushed, the blood circulation of the craniocerebral zone worsens, the nerve endings and membranes of the medulla are compressed. As a result, headaches of various intensities and frequencies, disturbances in the functioning of the cardiovascular system, VVD (vegetative-vascular dystonia) arise, a habit of hunching, prolonged muscle tension, and it is difficult and / or painful to turn the head to the left and right. There is a need to constantly lower your head, heaviness in the legs. There is also damage to the organs of vision and hearing, a change in the bite, and many other symptoms and pathologies that, at first glance, are difficult to attribute to the syndrome of rotational subluxation of the atlas.
