It’s the worst having to question if you had a seizure. I experience partial nocturnal seizures. I jerk and have weird behavior. Most times I’m angry about something and I always say fuck 🤷🏼♀️😂 I have dreams that I’m having a focal aware seizure and I’ll jerk awake. I think it’s my brains way of preventing a tonic clonic

What you describe is exactly what happened to me last night. I want sure whether it was a dream or really happened. I partially remember taking my TV remote, turning TV on then off then doing the same thing again. So I'm pretty certain I had one last night and i also woke up with a migraine. Your video helped me not feel like I'm losing my mind.. no pun intended. Thank you

Had an aura leading into an absence whilst riding a bicycle a few times now. Showed my neurologist the distance: about 500m on a print of a map. I always take the same route and came out of the absence down the route.

So many questions unanswered: - If you wear that sweater over a white shirt and walk around in a sunny sweaty day, will the dye stain the white shirt? - Does the color retain well over 10-20 washes? - Can you wash it with lighter colored clothes?

Ive just ordered the Ocean Blue to hopefully dye a no longer white cotton/linen summer dress and lightweight wool cardigan. Praying that it will do both at the same time. How prices have changed now £9.95. Has anyone done more than 1 item together? How did they turn out please?.

I have similar seizures, I usually get an aura like a rising rush in my stomach or a smell. This gives me time to sit down.

I used to gouge my skin off, upon waking. A sudden grab, very hard. Would make me bleed. I'd feel like I was hit by a bus, very fatigued, and just felt like total shit. This started 7 years ago, but stopped a few years back.

Monthly cycle triggers these, too. At most, 2 weeks before starting menstruation, and sometimes before ovulation.

Stay away from caffeine and chocolate. I have partial onsets. I start to fall asleep, then suddenly start feeling VERY weird. Like, non-local and dizzy, and I stop breathing. It's not apnea, it's neurological. I then start tensing in my abdomen, and my my pelvic floor muscles start contracting. At this point, I start hallucinating metallic colors, all very deep sea aquatic in nature. I have an extreme anxiety/panic response. My heart races, but is very weak and shallow. This happens every time I start drifting, for hours. Before this began about 9 years ago, I suffered from severe nightmares and sleep paralysis upon waking, every night. Literally, every night. This is horrifying, when it happens. Keeps me awake all night. Chocolate really triggers it.
@kaylacarpenter27223 күн бұрын
It's not rare. At all. Most partial onset seizures happen around stage 1 and 2 sleep.

Hi I’ve been having weird sensations in my sleep at times and had a hard time finding anything about it online. I have rhythmic movements upwards and the wave motion semi wakes me up. I have frontal and temporal lobe epilepsy. I noticed a few months ago my 6 year old having the same motion in her sleep. It’s not obvious to see, but body palpitations is the best way I can think to describe it.

Newly diagnosed too and think I had one today for the first time. How I can describe it is it felt like my hearing was super strong and sensitive and thoughts in my head repeated loudly and I'd get vertigo type feeling dizziness with eyes closed and laying down. I thought I was going crazy then when my eyes shut around the edges there was this glow that stayed when I opened them. Thank you for this x

I have simple and mostly complex partial seizures, am now 38 but when it started mid 90s when i was 10, id have TC seizures that literally came out of the blue. Mostly while asleep during the night, only every now and then during the day. Was ok through most of my 20s even after stopping meds. Returned when i was almost 30. This time around though amd neurologist have told me its my left temporal lobe where my seizures start. My wife managed to get one or two on video, for the consultant i was under at my local hospital who last year has referred me to Neurological Hospital in London where im atm going through the process of evaluation for surgery. Theyve told me that a Vagus Nerve Stimulator or Deep Brain Stimulator are 2 methods that could be used if it came to it, but the consultant im being looked after by has told me her preferred route is going to be a partial lobectomy and brain tissue removal if they can locate the starting point of the seizures and it not being too large an area. Have had a couple of the tests, and tbh feel bloody frightened of the outcome of what this might be😕

Great video but the way to use Dylon is to soak the item in the Dylon for about 20 to 30 minutes spin it dry without washing the colour out !! hanging it out to dry then once it’s dry then give it a wash at 30° and the colour will stay in the fabric if you put the Dylon in the washing machine with the fabric and put it on a normal wash most of the colour will wash out it’s essential to dye the fabric and let it dry in the open air first then wash it

I have undiagnosed focal aware seizures... But I'm on a seizure med. I keep explaining to my doctor that i have these "episodes" where I literally will stop mid sentence... not be able to remember what I was talking about, I lip smack, everything around me gets darker, I feel like I'm pulled from my body as well. I USUALLY get a migraine with it though. I've tried and I've tried to get my doctor to send me to a neurologist but she won't. No migraine meds worked. I've only ever had one "tv" seizure. It was a few weeks after a really bad head injury. My leg started twitching, then my arm, and then my entire body started spazzing out. I went to the ER and what did they tell me? Migraine. Just a migraine. My doctor put my on a seizure medication tho... and so far I've barely had ANY symptoms of ANYTHING. For the first time in two years... I have some relief. The only thing I'm worried about is if I get an EEG and it doesn't show any seizures because of the meds I'm on...?

Ok, so my dad has epilepsy and I have these times where my entire body almost feels like it's slightly vibrating almost buzzing and then I feel almost like I'm half asleep and slightly disconnected from what's going on. I can still converse when it's happening but it just makes me feel really foggy and not quite with it. It never last long but I'll often lay down until it passes . Is this similar to yall who have been diagnosed experience?

I can finally put the words on what has been happening to me since I was a kid. I used to do sleep apnoea and then this evolved into these nocturnal seizures. Usually I am partly conscious and having a bad dream when this happens and I can feel my body moving and having a resistance pushed against and I can also feel that I am opening my mouth very wide as if I wanted to scream usually I do wake up with a very strange feeling and for the next hours or days I am very tired I have no muscle strength at all and I’m feeling very lightheaded and I need to take long long naps yesterday I had to take my day off from work and I slept until 9 pm.

I'm newly diagnosed at 41. I love that you said you can't tell if that's normal or if its epilepsy. Realizing I was having seizures and not knowing that they were seizures, and now I'm hyperaware looking to try and determine what is and what isn't a seizure, and its hard to tell. Some parts are obvious, but others not so much.

I also have partial complex seizures with loss of consciousness. My epilepsy is resistant. At the moment I'm taking 10 pills a day, 4 different medicines and it's still not 100% under control. I've had 7 seizures since the beginning of the year. Next week I'm going to do an EEG video

My family and my close friends know how to react to such situations. They just don't ask any questions coz we simply are in a state of confusion. Sometimes we tend to ask irrelevant questions coz we try to be normal ASAP but it becomes embarrassing for us when others don't know how to react and they get scared. Similar incident happened while i was in office and i started randomly asking question to an unknown colleague and she was frightened. Thanks to my friend who handled the situation. This also created an inferiority and i try to avoid crowded place just to avoid embarrassment P.S: because of this doctor have told me that i cannot drive☹️

I resonate with feeling crappy about wondering why it happened and wishing you could have stopped it somehow. For me it almost feels like if I was able to somehow just try harder before it sets in, that I could make it stop. Of course that’s never been successful 😂
