After owning a 996 cabrio 4 I definitely want a 944. Too many potential failures on the M96 engine that scared me enough to sell it. Only had like 38k miles and I did an IMS solution on it. Was a pain to work on too. It was fun to drive no doubt.

1. How can you critque the pop up headlights on the 944.....everyone loves pop up headlights. 2. The sunroof is extremly easy to remove. I can remove it in minutes. 3. There is a switch to change which mirror youre adjusting. Not a fan of this video as a 944 owner based on these 3 things.

Don't spend 40 grand on a 944 turbo. Buy a Cayman or Boxster instead. But for under 20 grand you're going to get a beat to hell or first gen boxster but you can get a really clean 944

Another dumb comment. The sunroof removed gives you a Huge opening. And no, you don't manually adjust the pasture side mirror. You just use the switch to move it from driver side to passenger side and electronically adjust it

993 c2s or c4s and turbo's with the wider back hips is arguably the best rear end of any car ever made, shame in my country, AUS, it costs more then an arm and a leg, well over $100K US MIN

There are actually power mirrors on both, you just have to flip the switch near the shifter

There is a switch in the middle console were you can choose which side mirror you want to adjust. No one needs to step out of the car for that. its all electronic :D

I also have a 993 1996 Cabrio polarsilver with only 54.000 miles. I runs like new, with 18“ technology wheels, full e-seats, ABD, AC, cruise control and the Soundsystem intake and so on. It comes from Minnesota and now it is here in Germany for 10 years. It is my 7 th Porsche after 914/911 SC/Carrera 3.2/964 Look, Boxster 97, Boxster 99, 944 S 2.5L 16V and now the 993 varioram. I've a 1996 993 C2 iris blue metallic, 60,000 miles. Varioram. No CEL. No oil leaks. Six-speed G50 manny tranny. Tip top full concours multi-show winner. I've had people, at a red light, say: "Name your price."

If they never made the 914 this car would of been better off. Needs a locking diff.
