2007 PORSCHE GT3RS
Hey money makers and wheel shakers! On this episode I am featuring one of the coolest eye catching and road worthy cars I have ever owned. This car was a big ticket purchase and very emotional! I have no idea if I will make a return on this one but it sure is amazing to have the chance to experience such a machine!
While the 996-generation GT3 RS was not offered in the U.S., this would change for the 997-generation. With the standard 997 GT3 debuting at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show, the GT3 RS followed shortly thereafter, with production beginning in 2007. Instantly becoming the must-have model, the GT3 RS proved to be a huge hit worldwide and a worthy adversary to the Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale and Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera.
In addition to its massive rear-spoiler, the most noticeable change from the GT3 to the GT3 RS is the RS’ wider rear wheel arches, shared with the all-wheel-drive 911 line-up. Horsepower and torque remain at 415 bhp at 7,600 rpm and 300 foot-pounds at 5,500 rpm, but thanks to the drop in weight, the car’s 0-60 mph time improves by 0.1 seconds to 4.0 seconds flat. A variety of eye-catching colors were available but only about 20 or so green cars landed in North America.
I purchased this 997 GT3 RS with just over 9,000 miles by a single owner Porsche Fanatic who never put the car on a racetrack and was a service junky! Finished in the most desirable and rare color specification of Green with black wheels and GT3 RS side stripes over a black leather and Alcantara interior, the car boasts a number of optional extras. These include the Sport Chrono package, contrasting yellow stitching throughout the cabin, bi-xenon headlights, painted lip spoiler, and other options that in my opinion make this RS the best possible spec you can own!
Considered to be one of the most collectible 911s built thus far into the 21st century, finding a better example than the one presented here would be a difficult task.
I will have to decide if this is a car to just stick away and hold or take a offer! Let me know what you think and please comment and subscribe!
As always if you have a car to sell, or just need some advice hit me up!
Contact me anytime!

love the colour, but what makes me want it more is that it is the colour that Richard Hammond had in top gear specials, and that episode made me love Porsches.

I’d love to know what ended up happening as far as selling or keeping as the market for these has jumped dramatically over the last few years.

yea when i heard that 250 k i was like hu whyyyy?? 1st cars are never good investment unless you get them at all time lows when no one wants them at low prices which in this case now 966 turbos are the great buy at low miles and hold and also clean low miles 928 s4 are the ones that are good buys for the growth. %$

The européen version came with carbon buckets as standard and a plexiglass rear window. Also the US version had a 70 liters tank as the euro had 90.

Our 997.1 gt3 RS came with full carbon bucket seats. Might be that ours is a Europe car. We do also have the roll cage, which American specs don’t have

Rest of the world gets the carbon bucket as standard seats, the same for the roll cage. It's odd for me to see an rs without the roll cage

This car does not redline at 9,000 RPM; the one that does is the 991.2 GT3. Love the car, though. My favorite 997, hands down. Well, my favorite 911 period, second only to the 911 50th anniversary (or the 991 R, if you really need racing-type performance).
