The NHS do not know the meaning of values, it’s a closed shop.

Manage to get 1 since the Covid lockdown. My GP’s Practice Will only take calls on the day. If you can’t get one on the day you just have to start again the next day. The very fact we employ 2 out of 3 foreign trained GPs proves are education system has failed.

Excellent! However, a bit of balance: Blair and Brown did vastly improve the NHS but at a cost which we are still paying. They did it by creating ridiculous PFIs and borrowing instead of taxing. The Tory government continued borrowing to fund poor services and Covid. We are now paying £120 billion a year in interest. Imagine what we could do with that. The £2.7 trillion debt will never be repaid. My answer would be to tax the rich, including wealthy doctors and consultants:). At the same time, I would not allow doctors trained here to take their £250,000 education off to USA or Aus to earn big bucks there from their commercial, pharmaceutical-lead system. Train more doctors here by reducing the training of overseas students and pay young doctors much more, in line with West Europe countries. The NHS is dreadfully inefficient. One simple example. I have visited A&E many times. 20 years ago I noticed that the plastic cups did not come out of the dispenser easily. A firm grip (I have dry hands), bit of a pull, out came 6 cups, left 5 to be recycled! I was there last week, same dispenser, same cups, same waste. Multiply that by all the dispensers in all the hospitals, account for the cleaners' time, stock re-ordering and delivery over 20 years and you are into many £millions, probably 10s of millions or more. Easily sorted. Bring in private auditors and expense managers, pay them only a proportion of savings.

It's not just underfunding that's the. It's an aging population, people can't get to see a GP, so health problems aren't treated until they reach crisis point.and require a trip to A&E. Peoplecwho drink too much, eat too much and smoke are relying on the NHS to fix tge illnesses caused by their bad habits, then there's the thousands on asylum seekers showing up on our shores demanding healthcare.

It wouldn't be broken if our governments let people work in paid jobs not blacklist them when they have qualifications and talents. Millions of people in the UK are being blacklisted from working in paid jobs. It's why they couldn't afford to fund healthcare. I hate the NHS they are all very corrupt the way they treated me and my friends. The poor people I suppose have to die then because they don't have the funds to pay for their own healthcare?????? Dr Ollie your ideas don't work for the poorest in the country..

This is the new info I was looking for! A majority of videos about self-discipline use dated info and sometimes advise people to do things that won’t actually increase their discipline. One huge fact that changed how I think about discipline is that you increase it by doing things you don’t enjoy. I’ve realized most people have grown accustomed to doing difficult things and tricking their minds to enjoy them, which doesn’t grow the aMCC (willpower).
Hi Dr Ollie. Can you please guide me on how to prepare for my upcoming interview for the position of Speciality doctor crisis resolution and home treatment team Milton Keynes NHS Foundation Trust. Thank you.

The NHS are scamming people the biggest scam in the world. Their so called core values puts themselves first before the patients. The NHS set me up to be under mental health services for being normal sane and I am battling since to get them to leave me alone because I need jack shit from them. They are just all about money not health, not welfare and not wellbeing of people.

British biggest problem is to blame others! The global crisis was created by the western countries including the UK by sanctioning key countries that provide resources directly and indirectly linked to key supplies. When supplies are short, demand is still there but the supply is shorter driving prices up. The crisis was created artificially by the british elites and not only british. Stop financing and prolonging international wars, stop meddling in other countries, stop making rich richer. All those money should be spent on NHS, schools, provide free university education, free childcare and elderly care.

I agree that the HCA's and other allied health professionals would be excellent in the Doctor degree apprenticeship. However, i see that they are going to work as porters and admin in the first one and a half years so I'm not sure how helpful that will be to anyone.. I would be interested to hear your thoughts on that?
