Go with the track itself. I think it is the best track ever released by S397 / MSG for the LMU/rF2 plattform. Full of detail and a lot of accuracy.

Pretty crazy how well they managed to replicate the engine sound. It sounds exactly the same.

Yeah HC Sounds are amazing. Personally I think the Ferrari 499p Hypercar is even better.

That is fantastic but don't forget Hector is going to be running 3 Honda Civics with spoon engines. And on top of that he just came into Harry's and he ordered 3 T66 turbos, with NOS, and a Motec system exhaust.

It would be even better if you could pull back the field of view so that we can see your control inputs. I realize you may not have the equivalent IRL onboard footage (not all teams show what the driver is doing).

yes I need to depend to what i find from WEC, and sadly they only show onboard like this. Pretty sure the teams want to prevent others seeing dials on the dash and so on.

Sim racing boys that complain about proper FOV angles looking slow on a 2 dimensional screen, need to watch comparisons like this. If you have a 27in screen, 2 feet from your eyes and you are running a field of view angle at 80+ degrees which makes the track look pencil thin and the environment whizzes by at warp speed and you can't hit a braking marker to save your life, your FOV is super out of whack! Whit the dimensions I just said, your FOV should be around 47 degrees. Without the benefit of VR or triples, a correct FOV on a single, flat screen will seem like it looks slow because it's lacking the peripheral vision that gives the brain a sense of speed.

So i get it right you are crticising my FoV?. May have to remember that my footage is taken on a 32:9 screen and IRL WEC is taken from a 16:9 screen. My FoV is set to 31° as im sitting roughly 70cm away from screen and thats the calculation result..

@@MichiHoyer Not at all. I am criticizing the guys that run a high FOV like 80-100 degrees because they like the sense of speed that it gives at the expense of accuracy. Your FOV looks accurate per the calculator and is how I do it as well.
