@@OnSludge I have that issue too but shakes are a great supplement for that problem mass gainers work pretty well for surplus calories!

DM1, Myotonic, and yes you are generally correct. I also have always had alot of muscle mass (I fooled the doctors initially). And yes, depends on repeats. The ONE thing that is MAIN detriment is injury. Work out correctly, and very correctly. Damage to tendons and other things take months, even years (if EVER, I know too well) to heal. It definitely helps just do it correctly and rest at the slightest injury, but don't give up. Good Video. And it definitely does help a ton to fight the takeover from happening. Not sure of other types in the MD subset.

I am 21 years old and i have muscular dystrophy. I was diagnosed with duechene muscular dystrophy at 3 years old. The doctors told my mom i wouldnt live past the age of 18. at 12 i started to get weaker and i needed a wheelchair and lost the ability to walk and my legs and knees weren’t able to bend out all the way and at 15 i lost my self independence for basic things and i just wanted to distract myself from my health issues and gave up essentially and started to have self doubts and depression and lost all hope and now i wanna turn my life around and take my life back and be self reliant i want be able to walk again i wanna go to gym and be healthy i wanna have a family one day and be able to protect and provide i feel lost and don’t know were to begin i have symptoms from both duechene and beckers muscular dystrophy im 5’10 i weigh about 150 and im 35-40% body fat im guessing and i come to you for help and answers and were i should begin my journey

@@lISeraphimlI thank you for reaching out and I can only imagine how tough the road has been. This diseases can be difficult and tear you down. But I would start off by finding a person who will be with you through this journey and willing to help you workout. Start with simple light weight exercises. Do as much as you can without pain. And if things get easier you can ramp it up a little bit. Also supplements like creatine and HMB are great too. I have a supplement video to see what j take, but make sure it is the most recent one.

I dont know which disease, i have Tell me symptoms of fluctuations in weather & if taken any antibiotics medicine weakness increases or not in muscular dystrophy. I feel bettter in morning & in evening my weakness is at peak which fluctuate in a day Feel better in cold , feel weakness in hot , do all md patients which have same type of weakness

@@ShahajanMujawar-dk7bx most commonly the cold effects us negatively. Most of the time muscles weaken in the cold which I feel. More often the heat is a little better and my muscles are loose so I feel stronger in heat. Right in the morning ing are muscles aren’t fully awake yet it take La me about an hour to prime them for the day. And the feeling of weakness during the evening is the fatigue of the disease

Thanks for sharing. I have dermatomyositis, and it’s just about impossible to find anything targeted to people like us. I see a rheumatologist and an exercise physiologist, and they can’t seem to agree on whether I will ever even be able to build any muscle at all. It’s discouraging, but I’m stubborn and keep pushing anyway. 😅

@@marabellofitnessllc8918 since genetic reports shown uncertain significance means not clear with congenital myasthenic syndrome 12 as disease my symtoms match with that disease, but doctors told to not to do further tests as it use less.but i wanted to know my type of disease i have fluctuations in weakness, if do exercise my weakness increase, my cpk level is 390 which mild, and doctor tell my disease is not progressing, but due to fluctuation ,i am in pain can you give me you whatsapp number so i want very help from you ?

Muscular dystrophy is the most emasculating disease for an alpha male to be afflicted with. Your spirit says FIGHT, but your body cannot back that up. I attempted suicide thats how Muscular dystrophy broke me.

My muscles are diseased and consequently don''t come back stronger; otherwise I'd live at the gym. I exercised hard for a period all it did was exhaust me and leave me feeling clinically depressed as I saw NO improvement. I'm delighted you are improving and seeing results. God bless

I have mitochondria myopathy I slip in shower broke my femur and tibia bone I was laid up for awhile non weight bearing as a result this I got a lot weaker I’m in a wheelchair now I do therapy twice a week I had a lot of ups and down there’s days I feel like giving up my neurologist said a lot of supplements are a waste of money I have tried creatine and hmb I’m not sure if it works yet

Thank you, found this. Will try creatine.. allergic to most of what you take. :((((. Maybe Collagen as a protein? Will look up HMB! I would also recommend Alpha Lipoic Acid mg twice a day with Acetyl L Carnitine mg. Notice difference immediately in walking up hill and dreaming (which I didn't do before).. Will also try the joint mobility. Thanks for this!!

15,660 repeats, but DM 2. I lost muscle while working out but I couldn't figure out while doing 100 sit ups a day why I was loosing muscle. (This was before diagnosis) But I'm still trying and changing things to try and stop the degeneration. Can you recommend what to supplement with?

I went and had mine tested a few days ago and waiting on the results. I know mine is low bc ive had everything else checked that could cause my symptoms. If it is low though, I dont know if I will do TRT bc i dont want want balls to shrink lol

I hope its not another injection. I HATE needles but from what i understand trt injections are more effective than get or pellets. I would hate to have to have ANOTHER injection besides trt
