I just finished the novel today, and it's very good. I can't spoil anything, but read it if you want a unique story. I will be first in line to read her next novel.

Is there a reason why you all don't prerecord the ads so that you're not having to interrupt the guest in the middle of their story? Genuine question lol

Remember Col. Robert Howard? Green Beret; MOH; DSC; SS; multiple PH's.....That man never wrote a book; never advertised his near countless valor awards; and died in relative obscurity. And he didn't do his own podcast.

Good episode but Nate has himself become a prime example of vetbro toxicity. At least we avoided most of the childish partisan political bullshit he spews on his own channel.

Good afternoon, i was on ODA 362 (the SF team he's talking about linking up with). I've been trying to get in touch with the Rangers that were with us that day we recovered Marcus. Can someone put me in touch with Nicholas Moore? We're planning a 20 year reunion and we'd like Ranger involvement.

This is one of the best interviews on KZbin, with anyone, full stop. Pat has led such a colorful life, and he is a fantastic storyteller- warm, humble, respectful, and self-effacing. Jack and Dave are really skilled interlocutors, asking the right questions in the right ways, letting Pat lead, and mostly saying nothing. I get something new out of this every time I return to it- there's a LOT to absorb- but this time around what I really love and appreciate is the massive love, respect, and admiration that all three of these high-speed dudes have for the support element. Real ones know- the tip of the spear can be mighty sharp but it doesn't do much without the rest of the stick behind it!

Fred Galvin is a bit long winded in his explanations while answering questions here but please for the love of the channel.... Dave&Jack, let the man finish his damn thoughts! Time and again you guys interrupt him and talk over each other. A wonderful guest, very enlightening. Marine Senior leaders eating their pups for personal gain, yikes

To your point about having more representation on the conventional side versus just the soft community just invite more people on your show or look up people that other podcast have had on that come from the straight leg infantry community and have them tell their stories on your show that way there can be representation across-the-board so we do hear those stories and Those movies can be made

From Australia here. I have tried to order the book twice and twice now I have had problems. First Amazon said there was an issue with shipping and it couldn’t be shipped and then Barnes & Noble said it didn’t pass Verification. I have no idea why this has happened as I have never had this issue before. Does anyone know how I can get this book in Australia ? Please

It's a story all right. All hearsay, no proof he's dead, buried at sea because he wasn't to be a martyr, DNA proof due to gossip. Left out that he was supposedly on dialysis but no kidney machines every discovered at his "lair." Also, down the road from the Pakistani "West Point," but they didn't give him cover.

I heard that he has Chargin’ Charlie Beckwith’s ashes in an urn on his hearth. I’m wondering if that’s true. There was a documentary about the SEALS and he makes some comments on it while he was still in. He made a comment where he was absolutely serious but it was still funny to me. He’s incredible.
