Hi, love your video ! I drive a 2022 Jaguar XF d200 Mhev SE, what's your opinion on that please ? Less problems than the d180 and d240 I hope, kind regards

I bought a brand new D300 SDV6 in 2018. It lasted till 43000 miles then it needed a new engine, full JLR history. Lots of niggles too. Beware buying an earlier model would be my advice.

I’ve just checked the road tax - it’s actually only £190 for the year! This epic GLE63S has just become a lot more reasonable 😎 wouldn’t you say so?!

Well I today just bought an approved velar Jan 2022 registered d200 it’s done 30K, and LR service at 19K. it’s now 3 years old. I got a two year warranty from Sytner JLR dealer. My understanding is that there have been improvements from 2020 on the timing chain , DPF. and a few of the bits that should improve reliability. Has there been a marked improvement in the D200 since 2020?

I would like to know what the "beeping" sound is when you drive along. In some POV videos, i hear the car just randomly beep at you either in hybrid mode or even without. Very curious to know.

Not sure about the 8 speed auto. If it is a 2010 model, I believe it's the 6 speed.

Just had a look at the advert (nosey) and noticed it is down as not being ULEZ compliant. In fact this can be corrected as, although it’s only Euro3 the NOx output is below ULEZ levels. If the V5 shows the NOx you can submit a request for the ULEZ status to be corrected. Same with the Clean Air zones…my 996 was actually listed as ULEZ compliant and compliant with most of the Clean Air zones but I had to have Bristol and Birmingham updated. There are threads on forums to explain more. If the V5 lacks the NOx level a certificate of conformity may be needed which is a bit of a pain but it is possible to do.

A really useful video, as we are looking to buy a Valar and having watched many videos, I found this to be the cleanest opinion based and settle my mind that I need to find and buy a 3.0l petrol HSE R-Dynamic. Our budget is £30k tops, ideally we'd like to spend £25k but for the right car we'd pay what it takes to buy.

From what year is the ford 3ltr engine out of the range rover sport
@insceman851527 күн бұрын
Had an ex demo 2020 D300 HSE R-Dynamic. It was the older 3.0 V6 diesel, not the new inline 6 Ingenium which is the much better engine that I have in my current Range Rover Sport. It was a very high spec with pan roof, air suspension, full leather package and very comfortable. I had no problems at all in 20,000 miles in just over a year. I’d recommend the later models with D300 Ingenium 3.0 6 cylinder as more economical and no major issues reported. My current RR Sport has 50,000 miles and no problems.

It seems to me after viewing every car dealers video regarding Land Rover jaguar steer clear of a 2.0 litre ingenium engine and stick to a 3.0 litre engine

I am currently in the market for a new car as I was unlucky and someone decided to crash into my parked car on Christmas Day! I think I find the Range Rover Velar and Sport's the most tempting, but I am really struggling to get past everyone's views on reliability. Do you believe they are all as bad as people say?
@condorprestigevehicles27 күн бұрын
Sorry to hear about your previous car being hit! What a pain. The JLR products make up for roughly 50% of my stock range most of the time, if not more. I really enjoy the Range Rover's and I'm aware that they definitely require more of a maintenance than a Honda CR-V - but they provide a driving experience which in my opinion is fantastic and well worth the extra money needed to look after the car. As I mention in my reviews/videos, I'm quite fussy when it comes to the stock as it needs the correct service history & spec etc for me to feel confident and comfortable to sell it. If you decide to go for a Range Rover - I hope you enjoy it!
@km0306-q5f27 күн бұрын
@condorprestigevehicles It had definitely been an inconvenience. I have been most drawn to the low owner, good history Range Rover Sports, although getting insurance seems to be a little challenging, do you have any advice for looking at RR insurances? Is there a knack to getting slightly more reasonable prices, I live in North East England where car thefts are less prevalent than some areas!

Sad to say that I found the test drive of a 24 plate P400e underwhelming. The power delivery was very non-linear, the interior not especially plush and the cabin noise higher than I anticipated. By contrast we recently bought a hybrid Evoque and I am smitten with it. The Velar does look jaw-droppingly gorgeous but it flatters to deceive for me.

This question about whether or not it's a proper Range Rover is bloody pathetic. It was built by Range Rover and they call it a Range Rover, therefore it's a Range Rover. It's only those interested in snob value that are likely to argue the toss anyway, and those people are irrelevant. Good point about the tyres. I always think that if an owner is willing to spend money on decent tyres they're more likely to be the sort of person who don't skimp on servicing.
@th505Ай бұрын
Agree! I looked at a Discovery and after seeing that many "Proper Range Rovers" with snapped chains at 70k decided to get the 2.2 SD4. Certainly as much a Range Rover as any other Bobble Hat 🥱🙄

Bought a 2013 PureTech to replace an ageing FL2. Actually test drove a D4 as well but couldn't really justify owning the complexities of air suspension and a V6 engine. Evoque proven to be very comfortable and actually more capable than I gave it credit for. It's a great tow car, sits really still and doesn't get waggled around due to the short rear overhang to the hitch, and if you drop it into 'snow' mode you get much greater throttle control which helps when backing trailers in and out of spaces. Agree that boot space is limited but there's a clever way to store the parcel shelf against the backs of the rear seats and give you some extra height capacity. Would likely have another one.
@severnseaАй бұрын
Useful info, thanks. I'm considering one but mine would have to be petrol because I do a lot of short journeys which gives me DPF issues. About the boot space, people forget that you can stand things like suitcases upright so that gives you a lot more space that you wouldn't get in a smaller hatch or a saloon.
@yundaz24 күн бұрын
How does it compare to a Freelander 2? Does FL2 have more space?
@richcarter229424 күн бұрын
@@yundazYes FL2 had more space in the rear, and seats would fold flatter than in Evoque.
