Great question! I have the sequential side/fender lights which look great paired with these, but I don't think there is a "sequential" option for the front simply due to the shape of the headlight. I did replace the front signal bulbs with LEDs as well, but they are not sequential. I did make videos of the lights I've mentioned above as well , if you're curious to see the routes I went. Thanks!

@@adron7748 thank you for the kind words and checking out some of my other MX-5 videos too. It's always nice to know these videos can help someone else out in making the decision to make (or not to make) similar mods. As far as the mods being worth it, that's always in the eye of the beholder. I've got somewhere in the ballpark of $3k in mods on my MX-5, and that's after hunting for deals/used parts. Personally, I think most of my aesthetic mods help modernize and upscale the car. I am going for a European sports car look on my MX-5 (I sold an e46 M3 to get this car). It reminds me of a more affordable, more reliable F-Type Jaguar. That's also the reason I went with the GT model too. I wanted the creature comforts of the higher trim and didn't care for the tuner-esque looks of the Club appearance package (otherwise I would have hunted for a BBR Club). Again, mods are all just a personal preference, especially the cosmetic ones. That said, the exhaust, shift knob, and gauges really make the driving experience more enjoyable. I don't plan to track this car at all, so they're about as far as I plan to go for now. Honestly, these cars are a ton of fun right out of the box, so you really can't go wrong. Really trying to find out if there is a compatible Raceseng boot collar that will clean up the sag in the boot. Yours isn't terrible, but there's a slight gap in the boot that would drive me crazy - especially seeing as it is visible from the driver's seat. Apparently the regular boot collar that they sell isn't compatible with ND Miatas, which seems like a total blunder on Raceseng's part.
@SeanStettnichs2 ай бұрын
Interesting - I've never noticed the sag in the boot or felt it was an issue. When I compare/contrast the stock knob to the Raceseng one, the sag in the boot looks to be almost identical (compare 2:55 to 6:25, for example). I do know there are aftermarket boots out there if it bothers you enough to consider upgrading to a custom boot. I also am aware some other shift knob companies do offer boot collars with some of their boots, so it's definitely a valid observation! I hope you are able to find the fit that works well for you!

Hello, great video! Have you shifted a lot with this knob after this video? Do you think its worth the premium price, increasing the shifting experience?
@SeanStettnichs3 ай бұрын
Thanks for the good words! To be perfectly honest, I was skeptical at first before making the decision to buy this shift knob (the Raceseng knobs are more expensive than some other aftermarket options out there). I have driven the car for exactly one month now since installing this shift knob, so I can speak to how it feels compared to the original. While I wouldn't say I had any specific issues or problems with the factory shift knob, I do believe this knob makes shifts "feel" even easier/smoother for both casual cruising or spirited driving. I think it has a lot to do with the added weight. I also greatly prefer the feeling of the alcantara (doesn't get hot, feels soft) vs. the standard leather/vinyl knob. Aesthetics are always in the eye of the beholder, but I personally think the stitch pattern of the original knob looks like a baseball. I wanted something that was stylish but also didn't stick out like a sore thumb. To me, this knob matches the rest of my interior very well without being overstated. It definitely has a higher quality presence compared to the original. I hope this info helps! Thanks for your comment!

While the festoon led bulbs is a good upgrade. Those will not last. I say that because with good amount of power. There’s no heatsink to dissipate heat properly. And it will start flickering. In my experience with brishine for roughly 4 months. They started to flicker. For reliability and longevity, I would go for sylvania standard led festoon bulbs: Or if u want the high performance festoon led bulbs that’s design properly, definitely considered Lasfit - L series.l festoon led. For 28mm size, it only uses 3 pieces of 3030 SMD led chips. And it makes 2.8W per bulb. And we have them on our vehicles. My god what a major punch of light. For license plate light. U want soenthing that’s truly reliable and definitely brighter than a stock. Highly recommend Sylvania zevo T10. It has a diffuse lens which it disburse the light output. Or u want to make them brighter. Pop the diffuse lens to expose a single SMD led. Which honestly, 1 led is enough for the license plate lights. Right now ur enjoying ur nice led ligirjt upgrade. So enjoy them man. But these are my recommendations that to my honest opinion, u deserve better quality that’s truly worth ur money. So put them on ur list, if anything goes wrong. My 3 top recommendations for 90% of the vehicle, is Lasfit, Auxito, and Sylvania led and Sylvania zevo led for the lifetime warranty.

When making your order, I would highly recommend noting you have a Fiat 124 to ensure there aren't any small adjustments/tweaks that need to be made. Adam was super responsive and was very easy to work with in the process. While I'm not affiliated with Revlimiter.net (and I also paid full retail price + extra for custom design time) for these gauges, it would be cool to mention my name - Sean Stettnichs - in your inquiry. Thank you for sharing this video. The finished job is awesome in profile look and sound. When shopping for my 2024 MX5 RF GT, two things are absolutely required. 1. Only red in color and 2, must have a quad exhaust tips. After three months of active delearship engagement and even wanting to "special" order the car, I went ahead and wrote a check for Soul Red RF without the quad exhaust tips. Mazda does not make them with quad tips according to the delearship. I was also told that any after sale mods would affect the warranty on the car. I wrote an out-the-door check for the car. This is my second two-seater car, the first a dark blue 62 MGB and my fourth convertible with a 65 Mustang the first. Also a T-Top Nissan Pulsar. So, what is the price range for the modification? Can or will the delearship do the mod? Is there a reputable garage in my area that would do the quality work like yours? Thank you and would appreciate your response.
@SeanStettnichs3 ай бұрын
@@federiconalos8202 thank you! I thought it turned out very well. I, too, really feel Mazda should have made these cars with quad tips from the factory. I also have an e46 BMW M3. I left the factory exhaust alone as it already looks great (quad tips). This project was a little intimidating at first since you have to cut the factory bumper cover (irreversible), but now that the job is done I can say it wasn't that difficult. Patience is key! My car is a 2020 with 42,000+ miles, so I wasn't concerned about the factory warranty. As far as your warranty goes, you can put the factory exhaust back on easily since this mod is axle-back only. The bumper cutout would still be there of course, but I can't see how that would have any impact on warranty work (if needed). I'm sure just about any local mechanic or exhaust shop would be able to complete this mod for you. Where are you located? My biggest worry about someone else doing the work would be how much time they spend on the bumper cutout. It might be expensive to have someone do it for you...OR worse yet, they might not make the cuts as clean. Mine isn't perfect, but it's very close to the OEM cutout. The exhaust in the video was about $550 shipped from Italy to Iowa. Exchange rates and your location will likely impact that price. I had shopped dual (or quad) exhausts a lot before buying this one, and it was definitely on the lower side in terms of cost compared to others. I hope this info helps! Good luck! 👍
