Thanks !!! Great !!! By the way, did you know that there are 3 types of roller-skaters/skateboarders: Those with a properly fitted helmet, those without helmet & those with a loosely fitted helmet. The first ones like their brain, the second ones prefer their comfort vs their longevity, & the third type, with loosely fitted helmet, doesn't give a sh... about their usefulness on earth -Could be right about that- The third type puts up with all the discomfort of wearing a helmet & none of the advantages... kzbin.info/www/bejne/eqOtl6x-ed2amNk

The litteral only suggestion I have is using liquid based shock absorbers that use a tesla turbine for the tuned resistance, that way you use EM braking in the shocks to cushion your ride and capture some power. That said, dunno how possible that is right now

It's definitely not the best for beginners and I'm currently on 3 x 110 from 4 x 80. The 3 x 110 I have definitely feels less stable like having a shorter wheelbase despite actually having longer wheelbase than my previous 4 x 80. And if you have pronation problems, it will be worse with big wheel triskates and most beginners will have pronation issues until they mastered the one-foot glide.

4 wheels get stuck on everything.. My training ground consisted of pebble infested streets, cracks, and uneven flooring. 110 tri wheels got the job done. Ejected pebbles without effort, rolled over cracks like an offroad vehicle.

Thanks for the video. I saw that some parts of the video took place on the Coulée verte in the 12th. Did you have to ask for some permission to film or is it normally allowed with inline skates ? I've been there before and saw it as a nice spot, however there is usually a lot of people walking/running both ways and it's not that large at some points (also bikes are usually forbidden {I think ?} on the elevated parts of it) so I would be extra anxious of bumping into someone (or something : Borders and lots of tree branches), also when going in the Bastille-to-Vincennes way, you usually need to access it with stairs, so I never tried to do inline skates there.

Hey man, you're truly an inspiration and really good to see you come back. I've been watching your videos for years and I'm finally mustering courage to start skating again. Hopefully my knees keep up. Thanks for another informative vid!

Back in the early 90s I remember seeing a short video on tv of several people with smaller versions of a paraglider backpack , basically a 30cc line trimmer motor with a model aircraft propeller on thir backs zooming around town and thought to myself how cool it would be to have some kind of propultion for my skates . Its been a long wait but lately it seems like quite a few people are coming up with fantastic solutions like this one . seems super powerfull and fast . I might have to empty my wallet again soon for this one .

Very interesting 🤔 and very VERY original, its fascinating as an artist i have been thinking of modes of small transportable transport vehicle's and i never thought of this although ive seen variations but none as sleek and modernised as this, its like a weird modern archetype of the witches broom 🧹 its so unusual

It's amazing how this popped up in my recommended because for a long time this is actually been the exact style and design I been looking for! I been looking to pick back up inline skating but it's been decades and I had a couple knee surgeries but I been starting treadmill exercises and I do have a pair of skates but they don't fit tight enough so my ankles wobble back and forth a lot. I've tried tighter laces and adding cushions but it's just not quite comfortable and I don't know where to start but I think about it since I got a lot of nice trails near me and nature paths I could enjoy if I make my way out there :)
