Yes, that's the scene! I haven't been to Dymchurch for many years, but clearly, it makes you recall that episode just as East Surrey Hospital does to me. Great minds think alike! 🤣😀

I’ve never heard of that show before. You know I’d like to see filming locations (well the only one) for “open all hours” you know the store? And maybe the home of the buckets from keeping up appearances, perhaps the home of Oslo and daisy and maybe the church they filmed a few episodes at.

Those are both great shows, Jim, and by the same writer, Roy Clarke. The exterior shots for "Open All Hours" were actually filmed at a hairdressers shop. Apparently, the crew would make the necessary changes, and the filming would take place over a period of about three weeks. The owner would take a holiday on the proceeds of the location fee. 😀
