I am a drummer and I have perfect pitch and so few people have listened to this and have noticed that the snare and the toms were tightened. There's no doubt about it! In my opinion that's what makes it the best drum solo of all time. He knew what to do and when to do it. And you noticed! Bravo!

'Signals' was the album that got me into Rush in 1982 when I was 16! Some of the older guy's didn't like it at first and blamed it for Rush using 'TOO MUCH KEYBOARD', but I STILL ARGUE that 'Moving Pictures' a year earlier had JUST AS MUCH KEYBOARD as 'Signals' just the OLD SCHOOL 1970's style. I needed this album as a DOORWAY to becoming a Rush fan. After this I collected all of the 8 earlier studio albums, and bought every new one as they came out! I love this album! It defines the music of the 1980's for me! I think it's a MASTERPIECE, and MOST of those 'OLDER GUY'S' have also come to except that FACT!!
