I'm already wishing I hadn't traded my 2019 TRD Sport 4x2 double cab long bed in Calvery blue for a 2024 SR-5 4WD double cab long bed.

In my profession I see first hand the recalls on vehicles made in Mexico, the workmanship is absolutely terrible. No fs given, get it built and out the door asap. I will be holding onto my gen 3 tacoma indefinitely.

When every car manufacture makes new and upgraded changes to any of their vehicles there are going to be hiccups, name one that hasn't had any issues!! I have a 2024 Tacoma and I love it, I am a lease person as I don't put alot of miles on my vehicles and if anything breaks down on it I'm covered 100% including a rental, peace of mind for me!!! Yes I will always have a payment but I like a new every two or three. Yes their trucks are way over priced but the fact that there are so many sitting at my dealers lot it was a perfect bargaining chip for me, I got the deal I wanted and didn't budge!!!! I had a 2014 Tundra and loved it but it was time for an upgrade and since I don't tow big stuff it was too much truck for me. My Tacoma is perfect and super fun to drive and I use every safety feature!! So for those afraid to take a chance on any new car or truck, just make sure you get a full warranty with it whether your buying or leasing!! Hey you just might like it!!!

Love my 2024 tacoma. Built in late july, well past the trans issue builds. All mid size trucks are super pricey. If u dont like it, dont buy it.

I owned many cars, both coops sport cars and high-end luxury vehicles and I recently purchased a Ridgeline. I am really impressed with this vehicle negativity that I hear about it is that people don’t understand what they’re buying research your vehicle and you will see that it’s not supposed to be a work truck it is more like a crossover vehicle and that’s what I wanted so research what you want before you purchase one.

Exactly!!! This is why I rushed to buy a 2024 XL I knew they'd ruin a good thing (profit first, customers second). Even the first generation could have been less tech oriented for many of us that don't want to pay for the tech garbage that we don't want, need and will never use (hear that Mr. FORD!). A lot of the country just wants a new reliable and functional vehicle for daily use.

It sounds like Toyota's have went down hill. Like everyone else. It is not that hard. Do away with cvts. Go back to the old ways and quit putting turbo s on the engines. Why build junk?

In my opinion, the reason Nissan doesn’t live up to its rivals is because of its design language. It is not attractive. Compare to Canyon, Colorado, Tacoma, and Ranger, Nissan looks too old and dull. No matter how low their prices are people just don’t like its style.

The thought of 4/cyl turbo will never subside and that's why I'm holding on to my 21' Tacoma TRD Pro (white) for liiiiiiiiiiife!!!!!

The new ugly body style didn't help it at all

I have been driving the small Toyota trucks since 1985. I had one I ran for 16 years and my current 2010 Tacoma is going on 15 years, both with hardly an issue beyond routine wear and tear. I believe Toyota made a mistake with the '24 redesign and there are too many issues and question marks for me to buy the new Tacoma. I will most likely buy a Honda Ridgeline in 2025. With it's naturally aspirated V6, legions of satisfied customers and Honda's good name I think it's a better choice for me. As they say all good things come to an end.

Colorado ZR2 is a Way better Deal. So is the Ranger Raptor, Which now you can buy a Warranty Backed tune to Up the Output to 450hp.

Worst review ever! This is a great offering by Ford and I look forward to the 2025 Lobo. Hello people the economy got wrecked by current administration, components cost 30-40% more than 2021, UAW successfully got huge raises so all this equates to cost increases. Also people are demanding and willing to pay for more content like larger infotainment screen and functions. These aren’t free upgrades, flip key or push button. I don’t care, Hybrid or no Hybrid, I don’t care. I just love driving my Maverick with all my performance upgrades and accessories. It’s a good platform to build on and Ford saw the opportunity to fill the need and make some money. They’re not running a charity…however they still offer a great value pickup with a range of options and prices. Great job Ford and keep building Mavericks 🎉🎉🎉🎉
