I bought a new computer last year and let me say that I followed this tutorial again and my render looks 100 times better. So happy that I came back to this as I used Blender 4.0.

Loved the pacing of the video. I feel like most tutorials series I would have to watch a few hours worth of videos to learn what I learnt in this 20 minute video.

Worked great till the wing plane duplication. Tried to follow your keystrokes about ten times without ever getting the right results. Gave up and rotated the duplicate by entering 180 in rotation.Wing panels absolutely refused to merge. Gave up. Still learned a lot of useful stuff, though, thanks.

I recently saw the old video sequencer video you made. I cannot find the option in the Sequencer window to change the render of the strip ("Scene Strip Display"). Anyone know how that is hidden?

Thought Id try to be smart by putting the cubes in a collection and dragging the collection in, but the cube weren't being recognized. if you want this to work add a realize instances node in between collection info and proximity nodes. This should help if you want to use multiple cubes without having to drag them all in.

don't do shade smooth part in 6:56, it will ruin your model and make unwanted sharp i added shade smooth by sharp 'after finish model'

Thanks for pointing out that sometimes what is on the storyboard doesn't work in motion - a nugget of pro insight.

Hi, I found this tutorial while trying to build succulents using Blender Geometry Nodes, and doing some research I came across the Parastichy numbers, but I couldn't figure out how to apply them to this workflow. Do you mind helping me out? Anyways thank you very much for sharing this, it is very nicely explained and helped me out a lot!

thanks but I do not have the Insert key menu when I press I. The "visual rotation and location is not there". I wonder why? I can not get the handover to work when I have 3 child of constraints.

Thanks Chris for sharing this one..... this is great insight into your process of blocking shots. I like that you show us your "mistake" of choosing not the best camera angle then how you go about fixing that. I'm making my own short so it helps to see how other people do this too.... great video, loved it. Thanks again :)

Great tutorial, but I couldn't find the Musgrave texture in Blender 4.1, perhaps it's a different name. I usually use the native addon Import image as plane to add the reference image to the scene.
@kevinrousselet714916 күн бұрын
Yes, now it is called Noise Texture, but I think it is still a bit different because it lacks the property in the video :)

What does the cube help in animation
@chrisunterberg465227 күн бұрын
This is super concise and well explained, thank you. One small thing though: You're not jumping back and forth in a beautiful mess of animation and layout because Blender is more iterative than other workflows - you can do it because you're working on this sequence / film by yourself.
