Most people complain that it’s bad because it’s not faithful to the source material. But it could be a bad adaptation and a good movie. Yet it isn’t.

This movie was such a disappointment I was forced to do the unthinkable. I wrote my first ever piece of *shudder* fanfiction. AKA, I wrote a screenplay of what I thought a Borderlands movie adaptation should hve looked like. It was my only way of purging my system.

The casting and the PG-13 rating were a disaster from the start.

First thing a producer should have done is tell the props department to make lots of guns for the actors to use. Tell the writer, each character to be holding a different gun after each action scene. They can change guns after all the action or find it during the action, but they need to changing guns during the movie. Of course like he says, there are other issues, but it's weird when a borderlands movie has a lack of guns.

The FIRST I heard of this movie was AFTER it had flopped on release. Randy Bitchford is just another greasy CEO that honestly should be watching his back in this Post Luigi world.

Thank you for not being a cinematic illiterate and going after Coppola's MEGALOPOLIS! And they could not get Roth back to reshoots, which shows what a hack he is!

Ironically, the Rock would have been a better casting choice than Hart.

The Crow was the worst movie of the year. Borderlands was bad, but its issues mainly stem from the lack of violence and the PG-13 rating. A trademark of the series is filming a Skag's typical behavior only to be interrupted by being killed in a gruesome way. In the movie, they do the Skag scene like the games, but NOTHING HAPPENS. This is the best way to exemplify the issues with the film.

In a year where Sonic fans (such as myself) ate good with Sonic 3, I genuinely feel terrible for Borderlands fans

Borderlands is the worst because it's completely unwatchable..very boring. Madam Web, The Crow, and Kraven are not good movies..but not bad either....I could still watch and enjoy. The Marvels was a good movie...they just got derailed due to politics.

Fantastic character intro, it's just a shame that litterally everything after ut was a complete character assassination.

The whole Pa Kent issue pissed me off. He tells Clark that it probably woulda been better to let the kids in the bus die, and then tells him not to save him during that tornado so as not to expose Clark. Are you kidding me? Clark could have easily saved him without exposing much of anything. Stupid.

Miyazaki is a walking contradiction - on one hand he says he wants someone to carry on his legacy but on the other hand he's so difficult to work with he makes it impossible for anyone to even be given a chance. I hope Goro leaves to either start his own studio or do whatever he wants in life. Living with a father that's never satisfied like that has to be absolutely miserable.
