Our architectural style was craftsmen homes, built after WW2, which you can find many across Seattle neighborhoods. Post Amazon, there have been many more modern rebuilds-neighborhoods can be a hodge podge of styles of homes. But many remain with original craftsmen homes. If you visit Queen Anne or Capitol Hill neighborhoods, you can find many large Victorian homes dating back to the 19th century.

Also Seattle has around 1640 coffee shops, from mom and pop cafes, to sidewalk pour over stalls, to gourmet coffee roasters. What's silly is some tourists think Seattle only has Starbucks and they dont venture out to try some of the independent coffee shops.

SeaTac Airport also operates flights that go to as of 2022, 91 domestic locations and 28 intl locations.Although there are already direct flights to Seoul and Tokyo, Alaska Airlines is adding their own direct flights to Seoul and Tokyo in 2025.1 US dollar is worth around 150 Japanese yen, so tons of Americans are flying to Japan while the dollar is strong.

Well it’s true Seattle is more walkable than other cities, I think this statement always needs a follow up explaining Seattle topography. It is such a hilly city, it isn’t walkable for ALL people. I have asthma and really struggle walking around the city, especially between neighborhoods. Also we have 2 soccer teams, the OL Reign. Gotta promote women’s sports!

Washington USED to be a great place to live until everyone and their mommas moved here from every where. Now it’s one of the worse places to drive I swear there is traffic all day every day even in the weekends every gets super packed especially if it’s a sunny day weekend or not everyone and their momma is out the crime here is ridiculous I feel like a lot of the young people be so bored and it’s always gloomy they just wanna go around doing crime cause they’re hella bored. The food is nasty tweakers every where 7-8 months weather is 50 and under with grey skies it’s dang near impossible now for people to find work here it’s just as expensive as California now used to be worth it but not anymore unless you wanna live some where in rural Washington you might be ok.

magnolia is great because 99% of people can't afford to live there so it keeps most of the riff raff out 😃 on a side note its funny seeing videos like this when 99% of future magnolia homeowners don't engage in this sort of content

Yeah... Avoid Seattle like the plague. The excessive taxes make the cost of living so outrageously expensive that you will need 4 jobs just to survive. A $0.50 can of coke will set you back $4.46 for instance.

💯💯💯💯 to this I moved here 2018 and moving out next year it’s not worth it here it’s gotten so bad over the years it’s getting miserable the 7-8 month twilight vibe with lack of amenities and food not really great here doesn’t help at all if you don’t like people just like to work go home and that’s it you MAY like it here.

This was such a great video! For people wanting to visit to make the final decision to move, what are some important things/places you recommend people do/visit to help make their decision? Also, what would be a cost effective/budget friendly itinerary so to speak. Say you have 3/4 days vs 7-14 days vs. a trial run (30 days for example)..

The good thing about cold and rainy Seattle is the large number of ramen and hot pot restaurants.Hot soup tastes best when it's cold. Also Seattle is famous for numerous Korean sauna, which has a co-ed common room (jimjilbang) where you lay on heated floors, and you can enjoy different types of saunas. The spa will assign you uniforms as well. Some of them even have small Korean cafes inside and have vending massage chairs.
