When u show condos, can you mention the fees, in addition to the price…

I currently rent a 1B1B in Nexus Seattle and it's the best condo I've ever lived in. It's incredibly safe with a 24/7 concierge and fob entry required to get to your floor. The package locker system ensures your packages are never lost or stolen. Beautiful amenities and a very relaxed vibe throughout the building, like an upscale hotel, and you never hear your neighbors. The best part though is the staff. They are all so friendly and helpful and it really helps the building feel like home. And yes its very tech-forward. Just a really easy living experience.

I dated someone for a year who lived here. The building is nice, but the neighborhood is not great-it’s still in development. I was harassed by people outside on multiple occasions, including having trash thrown at me while being called many names. There are also few places close by that are open on the weekends for coffee/food-the neighborhood caters to the people who are working downtown. I see Monica commented on the new developments to the neighborhood, so hopefully things change.

Love your channel! I've recently just accepted a tech job at Amazon and will be relocating all the way from the South without knowing anyone so super nervous but excited!! 😆

When I first saw this building in Seattle (after not visiting Seattle for a few years or so, while it was apparently built) I thought maybe the whole blocky parts of the building moved or turned, kind of like a giant Rubix cube? I was looking up at it for a while, waiting to see the parts start moving! 😮 😂😂

Funny thing is the building where the Trader Joe's and the plane bar were going to be is under a work stoppage because multiple contractors have liens on the project. My office used to be near there so we saw them break ground, but it's astonishing how long it's taken them to get as far as they did. The 3 other projects near there that started after they did are nearly complete!

Funny thing about city living- I love watching videos of others doing it, but I could never leave my home in the county :). It is a beautiful space though!

it's just insane. in phx 5 years ago I rented a 2 bed 2 bath 1005 sq ft apt for $850+ utilities. insane how prices have risen the past few year and how expensive Seattle is... LGB!

I used to live in that neighborhood. don't hold your breath on TJ's. Seems the developer is having a little trouble paying the subcontractors.

Wow! A million bucks with $1,000 HOA fees, then you have to walk up a big ass hill to do anything in Capitol Hill? The way that neighborhood has changed pisses me off so damn much. Hope everyone is happy to have this huge terrible building no one can afford instead of Rebar.

2 bedroom condo for a million? I just buy an actual house and have my lazy butt do what the electronics in there do.
@msi83112 жыл бұрын
And this condo you can’t even walk outside safe and comfortably. I’ve seen apartments downtown for $9k/mo…… I’d rather spend $6k/mo for any home instead of these apartments. Which often have views looking directly into other apartments. Yuck, glad people are buying these because that means they aren’t buying the lovely homes.

That’s modern building in Seattle. Abolishing all the charm that used to be here. Houses with character, not sterile places that all look the same.

I was wondering why do people say I’m not going to lie. I’ve never said that. Why do you say that, Monica?

Just a phrase some people say and learnt from others
@Courtney-Alice-Gargani2 жыл бұрын
@@zharahussain8004 But it comes off as you think the other person doesn't think you're telling them the truth. My psychology professor said whoever says that and says "To be honest," Shouldn't be trusted. If you're not lying why do you need to say that.
@zharahussain80042 жыл бұрын
@@Courtney-Alice-Gargani I think that's true to an extent but some people say it without thinking what it means, they use it as a filler phrase. It's a habit people should try to break out of though and be aware of the meaning as you said ✨
@Courtney-Alice-Gargani2 жыл бұрын
@@zharahussain8004 I never said "I am not going to lie" and never will use it. Because when you talk to someone either you believe them or not and that's their right. It's like they're trying to force you to believe them.
