Mokolea Challenge, aka Race Around Bird Sh*t Island, Kailua. Wing Foil and Kite Race.

The inaugural race around Bird Sh*t Island was held on Sept. 28, 2024 was organized by Kiteboarding Paradise Hawaii owner Felipe Valadao. It was a fairly quick race, with an upwind leg to the island, then downwind back to Kailua Beach. The wing foilers started first at 8 am, the kiters started five minutes later at 8:05 am.
