I’ve had the runs a couple times. Once after I ate a burger I made myself. Which I don’t do often cuz every time I do I get the runs. But only when I make it. I am cursed. Luckily I was sitting at a rest stop when this happened. Another time I didn’t realize that the temperature was rising outside and I probably got heat stroke. While sitting in a Walmart parking lot, in the sun so my solar panels could power my computer while I was working on stuff, I noticed my pee was very dehydrated. Which was odd since I just ate lunch. Then I felt bad in all the ways. Drove to a truck stop a few minutes away and rented out their bathroom for 6 hours. I’ve had other lesser extremes circumstances where I was thankful I had a bathroom in my RV. But sometimes you don’t want to fill up your black tank or it’s already too full. And sometimes your RV is too hot to use your own bathroom. But a black tank toilet is a must for any RV I own.

I camp and travel out of my 5.5 ft truck bed. I have a foldable toilet with a 3 gallon bucket that sits down inside it. I put trash bags in it… now for my favorite hack… Many people use kitty litter. I personally can’t stand using it. I use corn cob bedding that you can get at Rural King or tractor supply. It absorbs liquid unbelievably! I put some in the bottom of the bucket; do my business and throw a scoop on top. It completely takes away any smell created from number 2. I can continue this for several days with zero smell in the back of my truck. Best thing I’ve ever used! I carry a folded portable toilet in the cab of my truck at all times as well- because you just never know when nature is going to call. Skip the kitty litter and try the corn cob bedding.. you’ll thank me later!

Not that it will happen, but I've often thought that if by some magical force everyone agreed to take their clothes off for the summer when the sun is out and the air is warm, after a bit of shyness and awkwardness, everyone would just get over it and all the weirdness about the human body (you know, we all have one) would go away. Erin, have you ever seen the movie "Captain Fantastic"? It's a great movie and has a hilarious scene that involves a brief bit of full nudity that speaks to this silliness about people's reaction to nudity. Also, the movie is about a family living a completely different lifestyle, living close to nature in the woods of the Pacific northwest, avoiding every aspect of American consumerism, approaching education in a completely alternative way, but at the same time being devoted to physical and intellectual development. It has humor and drama, but also makes you think about how we live in mainstream culture and what a well-lived life really is. You seem like a free spirit who wants to live a meaningful life, so you might really like and get some inspiration from this movie. I loved it. Anyway, just a suggestion.

I have a dually transit for work...my 4th one in 10yrs. Every time I drive it(even when new), I'm crossing my fingers that it'll keep working😅 Due to work contracts, I'm not able to drive anything else. I will never own a Ford for personal use, even while under warranty.

Seattle actually has a very progressive nude beach on the northeast side that meets Lake Washington, Denny Blaine Beach. In the summertime (which is short up here unfortunately) it’s flocked with many artsy/creative and musical folk and has always felt like such a comfortable space especially for my girlfriend. Unfortunately there is the occasional rando that comes down there with maybe weirdo eyes but the community that hangs out down there is dope and is always so quick to keep an eye out for people like that and out/boot them out if sighted a actively being a weirdo. But I’ve heard it being a very rare occurrence. Anyways it’s really nice to have that type of a safe and freeing space like that in the city. And to be surrounded by allies that aren’t afraid to speak up if needed and just want to have a nice summer time at a nude beach. Also fun fact it’s like 3 or so blocks from Kurt Cobain’s Seattle house lol.
