Hi Steffen!! Amazing, i love your work. Can I ask you, how would you make a realistic fog, very dense in some sections closer to the floor for example?

You should do a recreation of The Way of Water. :)

Hi ,I used the Phoenix plugin from chaos for 3Ds Max. I want to buy a new computer with a processor that speeds up the Phoenix Simulating faster . What category should I choose, Intel or AMD? thank you

Another great project! Did you give a try to tyflow for terrains? Didnt use Gaea in ages, but I just like to be able to sketch it directly inside 3dsmax, and is very fast.
@stfVFX16 күн бұрын
@@andvfx hey mate! Thanks! Ahhhh havent tried it yet tbh...but could be a great combo since you can also load geo in gaea now..for me gaea is #1 though for terrains

Brilliant work. So inspiring!! Quick question if you don't mind...I started learning Clarisse which is no more. I now need to commit to a new large scale environment, scattering, instancing tool. Im already a Maya user. Would you recommend Bifrost or rather start learning Houdini?

Fantastic work, I think I can speak for everyone with these questions: What system do you render with? How long does it take? What resolution do you render with and what samples etc. I'm currently running 3ds max with Vray but i've noticed the CPU performance not to be fantastic, i render for most scenes buckets and 1/6 for the min/max samples. I've got an i7-10700k and i'm not too sure why it's so slow. But anyways, keep it up, would love to hear an answer from you.

Amazing work Steffen. Quick question regarding performance. Is the architecture scattered or proxied in any form? How big are you going with your textures?
@stfVFXАй бұрын
Thanks! its proxied and THEN scattered with forestpack! Yup :) my texture size is depending on the object. if its just small its probably around 2k tileable.but some field textures are 16k
