Chain of memory is one of my favorite games. I played the Gameboy version and I loved the little sprites. Namine is so helpful and I love her drawings. In Kh2 I stood around the old mansion looking at them, so good.

I do notice you change every time. I like the mom hair lol you also change the color to match the character you are talking about it is so thoughtful

You could talk more about the DLC. A lot of people didn't play it and some people didn't finish it. Me. I didn't finish it. I replayed all of KH3 then played the DLC back to back and it got so repetitive and then you had to do data fight so I quit.

They really didn't advertise it. I don't even know what consoles it is for

Hello. Thank you so much for making this. You have gained a 11th die-hard follower (hopefully you have more since counting for this video). As a fellow queer 30+ year old who has been confused about the experience this game brought me for more than half of my life, I want to thank you over and over-you have helped me process, understand, and hear the words I've needed to explain my very similar relationship and experience with this series, and not just to explain it to others, but to myself and the exact reason why I was so frustrated and felt so betrayed for seemingly no reason. And, better yet, you've shown a way to shift my own perspective, after my own extensive years of being hurt by this series' orchestrators, to both enjoy my own interpretations and values I have for this series and still respect and find value in others' interpretations of it. 13 year old me, who played through KH2 in the first 24 hours first day of its English release (this is not a flex, do not get it twisted) and saw what Sora and Riku went through in that game, is sobbing in relief. That pain finally feels soothed, and I never thought I'd get to truly believe or feel that. So thank you. Thank you So much for sharing your thoughts, for making this video, and for doing the work that a lot of people don't have the time, energy, resources, or hope to do themselves. I really hope to see your other thoughts on it if you haven't posted the video already. You know what you're talking about. And becuase shes a pure light she cant seperate the normal way if the heart leaves the body it will not turn into a nobody. I don't think the romantic type of love is special, and I think that the romantic type of love isn't real. More than half of romantic relationships end in a breakup/divorce. Romance seems like an ugly thing. I think humans should just ditch concepts like dating, marriage, and pair bonding. I feel like this world would be a much better place without romance than it is with it. It does seem that nearly all fathers and mothers are hoping that their daughter never dates or get married and remain single for her whole life. Romantic relationships seem like a bad thing since there is a lot of dangers when it comes to them. The overprotective father/mother thing is proof that romantic relationships are a bad thing, and this world would be a much better place without them. If someday that the human race ditches the concept of romance and romantic relationships, and got rid of stuff like dating and marriage, fathers and mothers would be happy about it since they wouldn't ever have to worry about their daughter ever dating if that ever happened.

You make it sound like the second movie comes out this december (around 50 seconds in) it comes out December 2025 just in case anyone else gets the wrong impression

The meteor shower was a lie. Replica had the EXACT SAME MEMORY, and the Soriku, even though I'd love it to be canon... In Chain Of Memories, Riku appears first because he still remembered him, and Kairi appears after because she was deeper into her memory as she had to be pushed there by Namine for her to worm herself into Sora's heart.

I don't like that you're promoting the "HD Movie" version of KH 358/2 Days over the actual game... Anyone who wants the full story for Days should try to find a working DS copy of the game, or at least a playable ROM for it. There's so much content the "HD Movie" guts from the story, and no amount of polish can make up for the fact that over %60 of the story was in gameplay dialogue and pseudo-scenes with textboxes. Content that, at best, was glossed over so vaguely that no one who didn't play the OG game would ever guess there was MASSIVELY IMPORTANT LORE AND CONVERSATIONS just MISSING, and at worst, whole chunks of the story were straight-up left untold... That aside, the character analysis is beautifully done. We really DON'T get a lot of info regarding Namine, but what we do get has such drastic implications and effects on both the characters she interacts with, and the lore as a whole. There's definitely more Nomura plans to do with her, and i hope we get to see it in future content. The possibilities are nearly limitless with what they cold do if they used Namine in a future narrative, and that is potential that should be capitalized on

Another point, DiZ literally had Namine in his Hands. If he really wanted to dispose of her, why give her to Riku? She is literally right there. Almost like he expected Riku to let her go.

It is implied that DiZ doesn't think the Nobodies should exist because they are generated by Darkness. And Darkness was in his Apprentices and cause them to Betray him and throw him into the Realm of Darkness (Realm of Corrupting Spirits and Negative Emotion). And then, His Apprentices became Nobodies. In other Words, DiZ thinks Nobodies are like his Apprentices or the Ancient Darkness. (Shapeshifting, Life Stealers) And Distrusts because he expects Betrayal. (Darkness can hide inside Anyone, even people). Ansem the Wise took in Ienzo an orphan, and Xehanort because he thought they were safe. But they weren't. Therefore, DiZ distrusts everybody. But he doesn't really want to. But if Little Ienzo can turn to Darkness, how could you be sure?

1:20 I really love this detail because half of the time, when peoole talk about Kingdom Hearts being confusing or convoluted, the truth of the matter is that in universe characters are frequently wrong about the mechanics of the world. I find it refresing compared to so many generic fantasy stories that just lore dump their rules on you in the first 20 hours.

I really hope Namine plays a bigger role in kingdom hearts 4 I hope either she or Chirithy helps Ven recover his missing memories from union x
