Think? Religious people LIE LIE LIE to themselves and others. They do not “think.” <<Isaac was resurrected after the slaughter in the version of medieval Ashkenazi Jews. >>
@letsomethingshine
@letsomethingshine 15 минут бұрын
This was because Ashkenazi Jews did what most Christians do and “clicked accept after scrolling down quickly to the bottom of the contract.” There were Ashkenazi Midrash (Dark Age Jewish “legitimate” extras “from oral tradition”) that noted Isaac’s ashes are a good sacrifice like Animal ashes. Since Abraham went back to his 2 servant “young men” seemingly without Isaac and then his brother was discussed as having lots of children and those children offer up a burial cave for Abraham’s dead non-concubine wife but he says he needs it “so I can bury my dead out of my sight.” But the chapter after that has Abraham asking a servant boy of his to massage his thigh as a promise to find his son Isaac a wife from their homeland of Iraq/Mesopotamia rather than that he take any wife from Phoenicia/Phoenixia/Canaan. And the servant goes and finds some lady willing in Iraq and then takes her back to Phoenicia/Cannon and they find Issac meditation in a field and he sees them and talks to them and then immediately consulates the non-marriage by taking her to his dead mother’s tent which makes him feel ok again after his mother’s death.

Why always the polarization? To drag us all into this conflict, this man comes with this message of fear. "you are next" in other words "It's us or them, you take your pick". I hate that.

Most reasonable people understand that the core values of leftists *historically* begin at workers rights. It was always out of defense (zero workplace safety and mandatory 80 hour work weeks). People fought for workers rights with blood and it benefitted all Americans except the ruling class. Now those rights are nearly gone and the economy is based on exploitative business practices and MLM structures and trying to move towards automation. This era should be known as horrifying as the great depression with the amount of homeless people in the country.

Lmao how has fhe culture moved "more to the left" if every single state is either "right to work" or "at will employment". What youre describing is a weird reversal of the overton window. Leftists consider liberals innefective because they give zero protection and inadequate pushback against an extreme Christian right wing that has gone off the rails

Mm... see I will say after all my years of therapy, I still describe nearly any god awful thing I experienced as if it were the weather on a Tuesday night. I don't think you can ever undo being exposed to those things. However, we can learn to associate old things with new more positive scenarios or that those things were not ok etc. The weirdest thing about living through real life horrors is it doesnt feel real or even all that absurd. There's no frame of reference being "in" it. Only once you are removed and become aware does it sink it.

It started in the early 1800s in Europe with political policing in the Napoleonic period, Prussia 1809; Austria and Bavaria 1815. Don't forget 1919 in the US Bolsheviks targeted Senators, Cabinet members, a Supreme Court Justice, John D Rockefeller and JP Morgan bombing their homes.

However, I genuinely loved her take on depression in the U.S. Life really is what you make of it, your experiences, your ability to preserve during hardship, and that is what molds a humans perspective. ✨ Poor people .. my heart goes out to them… having to literally worry about just surviving everyday.. not being able to just authentically live life. Which makes sense to why she personally feels so much gratitude escaping (NK) and coming to the U.S..

The United States only values minorities because of black Americans and the civil rights movement. Otherwise, it only values white supremacy. That’s ultimately what we were founded on-white men, especially wealthy ones, being given rights at the expense of others. People forget that.
