Not paid, we just thought it would be cool to show what’s in our Peak bags since several of us own them
@NicholasCFranklin18 сағат бұрын
@@wornandwound that’s cool’ thanks for clarifying!
@EyephereКүн бұрын
Peak design bags are overrated. They’re unnecessarily heavy. The equipment dangles and bangs against itself unless you have individual cases for all your lenses. They are also a dead giveaway to thieves that you have serious tech equipment in there. Just an overrated bag.
@NicholasCFranklin23 сағат бұрын
I agree they're heavy. And probably a bit overpriced. But they're very well thought out in my mind.
@Eyephere17 сағат бұрын
@@NicholasCFranklinthey are well thought at but not well enough in some ways like the jangling of the items / the heaviness & weight distribution etc

I put my new 180-600 lens along the tall inside of my PD backpack. I was pleased that the backpack could be customized to carry such a large lens. However, I was annoyed to find that the interior side pocket zipper scratched my lens badly. It’s a significant oversight on PD’s part to have metal zippers in a position where they can rub against camera gear. It’s telling that the people in these videos wrap their cameras when storing them inside the backpack.
@Eyephere16 сағат бұрын
@@MichaelSeneschalwell yeah huge oversight but you should also def take care of your lens too. I can’t lie tho or blame you because I don’t wrap mine either but I do have a lens filter on it just to protect it at all times.
@MichaelSeneschal5 сағат бұрын
@@Eyephere Yes indeed. The scratches are on the side of the lens, so not on the glass itself. It's purely cosmetic, but still an annoyance. The velcro shelves on the backpack can be put anywhere, however I found out the hard way that they need to be lined up with the inside zipper pockets so that gear isn't rubbing against the interior metal zippers.

Congrats to Astor Banks. MORE watches need to have a dual time feature like this instead of the GMT function that is difficult to tell at first glance what time it is because of the 24 hour thing. Most of my travel happens within the US and you only have a difference of 2-4 hours within CONUS. SO much easier to use a dual time in that instance.

The Monta with the green dial is very nice. However, the printed logo just brings it down. An applied logo would take the watch to the next level. Hope you take this constructively.

I picked it up in 2023 and enjoyed it, but it didn’t have a glide or T-fit and it is the only thing I didn’t like. I bought a jubilee from Uncle. Now I’m looking to change the strap to a ZEALANDE strap with deployment clasp. I have the Tudor BBgmt opaline dial and picked up the ZEALANDE with deployment clasp and oh boy what a difference.

Very underrated brand. I really like that they are proud of their quartz pieces (as they should be). I just hope they start making their watches in the 37-39mm range. Dressy or "everyday" style watches at 40-42mm don't look as elegant nor are as versatile.

I want to start getting into Grand Seiko watches and this "seems" like a good start? I like what it offers and it doesn't break the bank too much but I am debating if I should go for the notable names like the Snowflake and such. They're all great watches I just can't decide/not well informed.

The reason of the tail of the strap being toward the wearer is because is a cocktail watch. So the idea is that is you raise you hand to sip your drink, the observer gets the cleanest/nicest view of your watch. If it puts that impression or not IDK but for sure adds to the feeling of an elegant cocktail date with your chick and I think that's an awesome feeling to have in a nice night out.
