How do you suggest to secure to box in the dash to avoid unwanted rattles and vibrations? I was thinking of wrapping it in bubble wrap but i believe the box unit needs to dissipate heat. Also from what im seeing in the video, can you do without removing the top dash trim ?

Hi great video…. I’ve seen on bimmertool that you can read mbar exhaust back pressure which is essential to knowing if the DPF is got blockage…. Do the other apps show that specific data, does Bimmerlink or Bimmercode?

My BimmerTool app shows locked dpf regen, 52%sooth and still no regeneration, no faults as well

When I run a complete identification in my Ista, I have got a screen picture with vehicle details with only many locks signs. The control unit tree do not appear. Does this mean that my BMW car workshop has locked my car for use with Ista? How can I solve to unlock ista?

Hi all got a 520d 2020. My oil level rose due to fuel being dumped in the oil resevoir caused by failed regens. I do taxis therefore the city driving is why i think the regens failed. Bmw drained my oil and now i monitor my dpf levels using beamerlink and when regen is due i do what this gentlemen on the video is doing. However, noticing the soot level is rising too quick after regens around 3 grams per day. My average mile till between regens in 200 miles or 350 km ( high city driving). Now i monitor my soot levels using beamer link but still wondering why my soot level still rise 3 grams per day?

I can service a car on my own.. but i dont.. why you ask? because im not a mechanic. Most car problems can be sorted out before they happen if spotted by a trained eye.. which is why i always take it to get serviced at a dealer. costs way more but alteast you are being made aware of issues that are likely to pop up or have.

Hi my friend, It seems your old battery still in Good condion, if I were you, i would charge it before change that. I had a BMW F30 2012, but untill now it still working prefect, I charge that when that voltage lower, after charge that voltage will be 12.89v, I brought a VARTA G14 to prepire replace that, after 3 year new batter came to my home, the old one still working prefect. so don't throught way your old one, try charge that. hope that useful for you.
