What a great conclusion to this series! But man, I emotional listening to you talk about the accident and what you were going through at that time. I know we've talked about it extensively since then, but hearing it new and raw, it made me want to just give you a hug! Anyhoots, great series Critter!!

Great Series. I am so glad you survived the wind and got back into your beloved mountains. I will always have a love of the veregated scab and the sage brush of eastern Washington and Oregon. Someday I would hope that you can see the High Desert of Nevada. It is incredible to be at close to 3000 meters and camping where Pinon pines meet the juniper trees.

Unfortunately when Co-Vid hit, a lot of smaller town businesses went under and weren't able to recover (hence the lack of spots at Grand Coulee). The wind out there can be INSANE! I used to camp in that general area as a kid - I'm so glad you were sage! ❤️🤘🏻

Great ride day there! Scenery, no real wind, kinda days we just want to go on & on. I've noticed the decline of small town businesses in my travels, it's sad. I imagine there is a Costco or Super Walmart within a distance that people just stock up and use the convenient stores for small items. I think it was within a month Laytonville Ca lost its grocery store and long established bar/restaurant. A lot of them say they never recovered from the pandemic.
