Mr. Whitlock , I truly hope that you see this message because your music and I know that this sounds cliché helped me grow up. It was music for young men that were looking for answers to how to deal with real life. While most of my early bands did top forty covers that were as deep as "All right now " great tune fun to play but not many life lessons. And then there were the Dedham kids ACDC POISON BLACK SABBATH. In my 55yrs of playing bass have never played anyone of there songs . So now that I finally have the chops to play some of LAOALS I am enjoying it emenselly. So all that being said I have been binging? your interviews can't believe that I just found them. I turned my nephew/godson onto them. This kid on graduation from high school day back in the late 80s spray painted "CLAPTON IS GOD" On the highway over pass. So he's a fan . Sorry for the rambling but I figured if there was a chance that Mr. Bobby Whitlock may read this then this would be the only chance to send along my love and gratitude for helping me navigate through life since I was a kid.

Sorry for your loss ..Two years ago for My 60th birthday I drove from NJ and went to Stax and looked for your record on the wall .. I continued on my journey to Tulsa to see JJ Cales Home and back to Memphis .. down to Muscle Shoals and then to New Orleans. Bobby and JJ Cale have been my favorite artists the last 30 years since I've sober. Please let us know when the event will be in Memphis ..I would love to make the trip to back to Memphis to attend and hopefully meet you both..it would be an honor..If I had my way Bobby would be in all the Hall of fames..

I find Bobby's art so appealing. It has the energy of Bacon, and the depth of Frazetta. I love that type of image that takes you someplace else, and Bobby's stuff does that. Basquiat had a great sense of humor as well, kind of like Bobby! Best wishes to both of you, and condolences about your Father. I lost mine a number of years ago and he is still with me everyday, remember that.

Hello again, CoCo. I recently looked your dad up using your image with his name at the end of this video. Not to take away from the Husband and Father he was, just what I see in obituaries about his military career, it looks like he had a stellar career as a military aviator. They don't just pick people at random to fly as he did. You should be, and I'm sure are, very proud of his service. It's very impressive, and I have no trouble believing Bobby in this video that he'd never met a finer man than your dad.

Good to see you two are back, alive and well. Very Sorry to hear about your dad CoCo. I sadly also know the feeling my mom past on May 11th. it has been hard. Losing a parent is Very Hard and I know we all go thru it but it does not make it any easier and of coarse we miss them, a lot and also I think what made it worse for me is that our beloved Sadie our Blonde and white Shepard mix the absolute Best Dog I or we Ever Had a True Best friend or little buddy to us. she was with us a little over 17 years had to go on to heaven and wait for us too. on May 2nd she left us. I got to say it has been really hard. We really Miss that dog, atleast my mom was 94 11/12ths. although co me to think about it Sadie had her beat in dog years.. Trying to live and laugh again. Just now starting to really try and just play my guitars again finally it is good for the head.. . THEN in July they found another bad nodule in my right lung again. that is the lung where they took the upper lobe back in 2012. I am waiting to get started they said there will be 5 = S.B.R.T. Raditation treatments .. I guess some Great news is the radiation they did on my left lung last Feb. 2022 worked no more tumor there. Also my dr's are saying tjhey are going for a total cure on my half of the right luing so that will be great news.. trying to be positive and in good spirits here... So that is tghe great and positive news as life goes on ..Wish you both well and the best in your endevors and congradulations on your On Going Fame on Beal Street yet to come. Great job Bobby. Happy vibes go out for you there.. Only good stuff.. oh here is a question for bobby and the two of you = did either of you Know or play music with Robbie Robertson?? sadly another g rea player and writer and stoery teller has past . paving the road up there for us.. stay safe & healthy. I am happy to you are enjoying good food and still loving music, Music is wonderful and some say music prolongs your life or at least makes it less stressful. Question???.....Why is that the music today is not near as good and as plentiful as it was in the 1960's and 1970's? Is it because the music business won't allow great music creators a seat at the table and they control what music is allowed and what is not allowed? As some have suggested like 'George Jones' or is the musical talent just not there? Seems like times have changed in a lot ways since back in the day of let's say 'The Mamas and the Papas for example. What has happened? and do you have advice for new musicians? and my condolence of the loss of Cocos Dad.
