I could hear in the first flute that the keys were more noisey due to probably the padding being off a little while the other flute there was no noise at all and it was quiet and smooth all the way through

Buy a solid student flute. Skip the whole intermediate bullshit. Get a pro flute when you are an adult IF you have money to spend.

Der großartige Marcel Moyse hat zeitlebens eine Neusilberflöte gespielt und hat mit diesem Instrument das Flötespielen revolutioniert. Erwurde bei der Materialfrage für eine neue Flöte seiner Schüler sehr ärgerlich und meinte - man solle lieber anfangen zu üben, als ein Vermögen für eine Goldflöte auszugeben, die nicht besser klingt und sich nicht leichter spielen lässt, als eine gute Neusilberflöte, die nur einen Bruchteil einer 9 kt oder 14 kt Goldflöte kostet. Das Gegenteil ist der Fall. Wenn man Flöte spielen kann, spielt man am besten auf einer Neusilberflöte und kann auf diesem Instrument alles so spielen , wie man es möchte. Status und Geschäft sind keine guten Lehrmeister.!!
