It’s actually written for alto and bass. However, I don’t have a bass so I transposed it down on my computer. 🤫 But yes, the low flutes really add something special. Thanks for watching!

hi lance! i just got a new flute (i am a beginner) and whenever i play note other than a C, its just airy or its high pitched. do you know the reason why? my head joint isnt pushed all ghe way by the way.

Hi! Hard to say without seeing you play. Most likely, you could use some more space in your mouth and between your teeth. Lowering the jaw and tongue a bit will often bring the pitch down. Also, make sure that the corners of your mouth are relaxed and not pulling upwards. I hope that helps.
