I'm depressed "OH dear Tony, what happened? Why are you depressed? Anything I can do to help? Make you some pasta" The signs of a good wife. Not Carmela fucking Soprano.

Such a slow build in this series...Started out a regular yuppie couple, agonizing what private schools they should send their kids, how they should deal with middle age and a lived in marriage like most upper class couples. However, as the series moved on, they showed how Tony and Carmela were toxic together, but they were also wolves in their own way, exploiting everyone to their advantage for their own personal gain. In other words...they were perfect for each other.

Carmela's story about Gab's uncle's detached retina is the kind of story my own mom might humorlessly share in such a moment. AJ's "that's festive" is very relatable.

I have sympathy for the average people impacted by these scumbags, whether it's drivers, shopkeepers, or anyone unlucky enough to get in their way. Maybe East coast people are used to it.
