Great video, thank you. 📷👌🙌 It may have just about tipped me into buying one of these lenses, secondhand. 👏

Is it good for food video as well??? Please suggest
@TheSeanMichaelАй бұрын
@@shilp_V5 it will be good if you use manual focus. The auto focus is a bit noisy so manually focus on the food and it should be great.

Sony really should reconsider its position on the RX line as there is a real need for small , good image quality cameras with optical zoom. No smartphone can achieve the optical zoom that this camera offers. It confounds me that Sony has taken no action to refresh the RX line especially for travel photography.

It is absolutely ridiculous that the tripod foot that comes with the lens does not have the angles ground into it so that you don't need to attach another tripod foot and rely on one 1/4-20 bolt to hold the two together. I bought a 3rd party replacement collar that fixes that problem for mine, but it shouldn't ever have been a problem in the first place.

I dont know why no one realizes how bad idea is to use metal lens hood on a plastic lens thread. Once you accidentally bump the lens with enough force or drop it, that hood instead of cracking and absorbing the impact, it will deliver all the impact directly to your plastic thread the rest you can just work out yourself. Good luck everybody.
@TheSeanMichael9 ай бұрын
I've been using mine for 8 years with no problems. But yes, I advise that you do not drop your 200-500mm lens.

@@mitre86able I get the point. I have and use both the plastic and the metal lens hood. I’ve used the metal hood for eight years now and I’ve never had any problems but yes, theoretically, it would not perform a sacrificial function in a drop scenario would transfer more impact to the body of the lens. Theoretically, but I’ve had mine for eight years and I’ve had no problems yet.

I'm glad to see you post this on your Sean Michael Simulation channel because I have been following you and Christy on Instagram but the video is only snip its and hard to follow along. It looked like there were many Americans/Caucasians at the Chinese New Year celebration. More than I would have thought. You are really brave to eat foods that you have no knowledge of what it is but it all looks delicous and if you didn't try it you might miss out on some very tasty intestines or animal brains. The little chickens looked strange but it is probably normal to those that have been raised in that culture. Hope you will post more to this channel of Thailand and the other places you will visit on this Far East tour. Have fun and don't eat anything you can't identify.
@TheSeanMichael10 ай бұрын
Yes, this event definitely drew out the Westerners and tourists as well as locals! Most of the Caucasians here are Australian/Russian/European. Of course there are plenty of Americans too but the long flight time to get here is an understandable barrier for many. Thanks for watching - more to come!
