Enjoyed the video, but you are making a pretty massive claim that EV’s are the inevitable future without really providing any substantiating evidence.

See how "cheap" your EV is when its going to cost more to replace the battery a few years in than replace the whole car. I'll take my renewable hydrocarbon powered car.

The plan to force people to buy EVs is not meant to make sense. It’s meant to force you to not be able to buy a new car and reduce your life style. It’s draconian and is our future. A future where we little people are forced to live simple peasant lives. While Taylor swift and bill gates keep their private jets and mansions.

EVs are between major generations. Shortly 250 mile ranges will be turning into 400 commonly. People are waiting on that. Its just like an iphone cycle. Downturn was expected and it will happen again.

if you are staying a week, or have a lot of guests then AirBnb or VRBO makes a lot of sense. The 1x cleaning fees gets spread over a longer stay. Not to mention that hotels tend to have parking fees and other fees that AitBnB doesnt have. Also with a hotel you have no guarantee where your room is in the hotel. Having options is a good thing. And .026% increase per percentage point is laughably small.

To be honest, sometimes I wish they'd run ads. I know that's controversial, but they made the decision to not run on ad revenue, they should live with the consequences and not make us feel guilty for it. They make it seem like we asked for this and so we owe it to them to show gratitude with our wallets. We didn't, and we don't.

I remember using ABNB ~7 years ago and could find cheaper than hotel rentals all over the place. Now it's similar if not more expensive AND comes with more rules AND you have to clean while also being charged a cleaning fee. Thanks for making housing even more unaffordable for my generation.

Plug in hybrids are certainly not “popping off.” Going from 1% of total sales to 2% is an 83% increase 🙄. Regular hybrids are about 8% of new sales while EVs are stalling at 7%. Give some real stats next time.

As long as they are community organized and ad free, I will continue to support them. Even if they don't need it financially, we vote with our dollars, and I'm glad they can boast profitability. It's a signal to the world that this is what we want. We want free and concise information that's not motivated by ad dollars to generate clickbait content, which I can't say about this video.

The two real challenges for BEV 1) They are hard to get. 45% of dealerships do not sell any kind of BEV period. 66% do not have any BEV inventory at all. 27 states that don’t allow direct sales from automakers like Tesla and Rivian. 2) Many don't have a way to get electricity from their home to the car. For those that do have a BEV, 80 to 90 percent of charging is done at home. There are lots of companies that could be harmed by or have bet against BEV and are spreading BS so be be skeptical of their FUD.

Considering how absolutely critical email is nowadays, and if you lose access to yours you can be literally out of massive amounts of money and access that you might not be able to ever recover. So you are better off betting having it tied to something which ain't gonne go away. Unless there is an absolute black on white contract that a service wouldn't be shut down or the company sold to a bigger company - like Google - who would then kill it or turn it in to another datamine for profit, the risks involved are quite literally too high for many. And as someone who been in the task of basically shutting down and deleting accounts on sites and services, to minimise my existence online - not for "privacy reasons" but principle - why would I switch or tie myself to some other service? I don't want more accounts to deal with, I don't want more services to keep track of. Which is why google is unfortunately so good. Most sites allow me to login via it and I can skip having to make an account.

This is incredibly poorly researched video, almost so bad it looks like advertisement… 1) You omit that drop in sales is not limited to EV's and their overall share was still growing. 2) You omit, that ICEVs need ~4x energy as similar BEV 3) You hype hybrids albeit they have only bad traits from both worlds… 4) You hype hydrogen, despite being just a little more than an expensive battery, even in case of "fire ice"… Toyota will eventually fail - ICEVS are being phased out, hydrogen has zero infrastructure (which is costly and dangerous) and is incredibly expensive to maintain… It will be probably trampled over in fights between Leaf (jerryrigged with 600km by battery) + Sakura EV's versus Tesla Model 2 (if it cames into existence)

No. Electric vehicles are the least expensive to operate and maintain by a wide margin. The invisible hand of the marketplace may be slowed, but it cannot be stopped by propaganda, so it is just a matter of time.
