If you haven't yet, look up Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up - pianoforte - performance" version sometime. Same song lyrics, but it sounds completely different and in a good way.

One thing about guitar solos: Many of them are just self-indulgent filler. THIS solo had intent. Take care.

Yeah, it's a stunt man. The Beatles were all a bunch of jokers, and George is just trying to give you a good laugh with how obvious that it's not him.

The "modern day Jude" is Beatle John Lennon's son Julian Lennon. Google the story behind this song-it's deep.

Thanks, it’s another old guy here that loves to see the great appreciation that young people show for years ago rock and roll, yes, with a tinge of country mixed in. I noticed your eyes closed to absorb the music but be sure to go back and just watch the different facial expressions all through the song! And, remember the opening with the title out of focus (like a distance away), then it gets clearer then real clear. And he sees the Hotel California…realizes it is an old Mission (like the Alamo), hears the Mission Bell….but thinks…”this could be Heaven or this could be Hell!’ And “you can check out anytime, but you can never leave.” Yes, Heaven or Hell??

I am glad you said at the end someone needs to do a documentary on these kids, it is tragic and how not to treat kids in the music business. For instance, that kid you said was brave died in his twenties after coming out of prison and broke. The drummer his brother died a few years back and had mental health problems . I could go on. The actually were the first black artists to be played on MTV (before Michael Jackson or even Prince) at a time MTV were only playing songs of white artists.

i played all his stuff 40 yrs ago, he was an anomaly, the question has always been where did he get it from, no-one taught him to play the way he did. he originated techniques that were unknown and people are still trying to emulate him.

I bought my first Pink Floyd album in 1969 (Ummagumma) and saw them live in 1971 and 4 more times after that. For me This is the BEST band of all times. Now I'm 71 years old and still listen to them everyday.
