@JustOneDonna13 күн бұрын
You can freeze them, but I never do. I would place them on a pan. Place the pan in the freezer until the mushrooms are frozen. Then transfer the frozen stuffed mushrooms to a freezer bag.

Mine die if I get the leaves wet.
@JustOneDonna21 күн бұрын
It IS🙂 best not to get the leaves wet. In my experience, occasional watering from the top should not hurt the plant. Bottom watering is preferred.

By placing a copper coin or a piece of copper pipe in the birdbath will help prevent algae growing. Don’t place the birdbath close to undergrowth where cats and predators can hide and ambush the birds.

I've heard the penny idea before. Apparently we should use coins minted prior to 1982.

how safe is it too use bleach on a porous material where birds will drink water?
@JustOneDonnaАй бұрын
That is a really good question. I am extra careful when I use the bleach. I only use a little, enough to kill any bacteria. I scrub well and rinse, rinse, rinse. The birds in my yard do well with this routine, retuning often and enjoying the bird bath.

Looks good, but I would add all the dry ingredients with the flour. I agree to put the dough in the refrigerator is key to an interesting flavor. Thank you 🙏

Thanks for your comment but there are two main reasons to separate the sugar and salt from the yeast in a bread machine: 1. Protect the Yeast: Salt can actually kill yeast if they come in direct contact. This is because salt inhibits the growth and reproduction of yeast. While a small amount of salt won't completely halt the process, too much contact can weaken the yeast and lead to a poor rise in your dough. 2. Control the Activation: Sugar activates the yeast, and separating it allows for some control over this process. In most bread machines, you likely won't see a huge difference if you don't use the delay timer. However, if you plan on using the delay function, keeping the yeast away from the warm water and sugar ensures it doesn't activate too early. So, separating the ingredients helps create the ideal environment for healthy yeast activity, leading to a beautiful rise and delicious flavor. That being said, if you're not using the delay timer, it might not be critical for every recipe. Always follow the instructions for your specific bread machine and recipe.

Thanks for uploading this recipe . What can I substitute the molasses with?
@JustOneDonnaАй бұрын
If you swap molasses with honey, maple syrup, or brown sugar you will make a cookie with a different flavor profile. I don't recommend it.

Would you call that a milk chocolate or dark? Can I add less sugar for a more chocolate taste or is it already dark? I’ve used a Ben n Jerry’s knock off before but I love just using coco powder!! Thanks!❤
@JustOneDonna2 ай бұрын
I used Ghirardelli Premium Baking 100% Cocoa Dutch Process. I would call it dark cocoa powder. This recipe, with that cocoa powder, had a deep chocolate flavor. The mix of sugars was perfect to my taste. I suggest you try this combination and then tweak it to your personal preference.
