Hi Donna. I am fan of your channel. I do the dinner rolls, white bread every week as I share with my family. But I also tried others of your recipes. Thanks !!! Want to try the Apple muffins. Should I put a bit of sugar ? I like monk fruit but that’s just a preference. Thanks a lot !
@JustOneDonna2 күн бұрын
Oh my! Thank you for catching the mistake in my recipe! I had left out the sugar! There should be a 1/2 cup of granulated sugar. I don't bake with monk fruit so I'm not sure how the muffins will be if you substitute. Thank you for being a loyal subscriber to my channel and making me aware of the mistake!🙂

Hi Donna. I was in the middle of making rolls in the bread machine and I had a lot of questions and doubts. I found your video and you assuaged all of my fears! It was really helpful watching you shape the rolls and seeing how you placed the dough balls in the pan. I followed your tips in freezing the remaining balls in the freezer (I froze in a pan and then transferred them to a ziplock bag) and baked a couple weeks later. This worked out GREAT and I will definitely do this in the future. Next time I will try your recipe (mine was 3 c. flour, etc). Thanks so much!

Great recipe! Thank you for sharing. How long do these cookies stay without using refrigerator? Or do they need to be refrigerated ?
@JustOneDonna13 күн бұрын
Room temperature: Amaretti cookies can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for at least a week. Freezing: To freeze amaretti cookies, you can: Freeze them in a single layer on cookie sheets until solid then put them in a freezer bag with parchment or wax paper between each layer. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight. Frozen amaretti cookies can keep for up to three months.

@JustOneDonnaАй бұрын
@@e.5911 Oh, yes! Please do. Quite frankly, I prefer it baked in my oven. Bread machines are a great time saver but as I usually say, I recommend the dough cycle and baking in the oven. If you use the dough cycle just wait about 5 minutes into the cycle, until the dough has formed into a ball, before adding the raisins. It works perfectly.

Thanks for the heads up, Ellen! I had no idea my pan was so unique. Try one of these: (my Amazon links) amzn.to/3CgHGyC or this one: amzn.to/3UK0dJI The key is using a thermometer to be sure the internal temp is 190 degrees F or higher. Start checking at 30 minutes.

Hello, I am in the UK and have a tree exactly like yours 35 yrs old. It has been happy all this time in similar position to yours. This Autumn its leaves are dropping every day and I'm worried it is dying. The leaves dropping are not yellow. I don't know what is wrong. Could it need repotting?. Many thanks.
@JustOneDonnaАй бұрын
I can only share my experience with my tree, Jackie. I haven't had your experience but if I have checked on water, light, fertilizing, pests and none of them seem to be the problem I would most likely try repotting.

Hi Donna, can't wait to make this cake. Looks Delicious. I was watching the Anadama bread video. It was interesting to find out how humidity has an affect on flour. I live in Indiana and for being in the Midwest our humidity is usually high. What state do you live in? I'm excited to make the Anadama bread. Since homemade bread doesn't have any preservatives, do you have any tips on storing homemade bread to help keep it fresh? As always, look forward to your next video. Thanks for taking the time to film and edit for your subscribers to watch. Have a good day!
@JustOneDonnaАй бұрын
Hi Ellen, I look forward to your comments. I live on the East Coast and struggle with humidity, too. I have found that my homemade bread doesn't last long enough to worry about keeping it fresh! 🙂But if you have concerns about it, I suggest you cut a loaf in half, wrap one half well, and freeze it. Use half of the loaf and thaw the rest when ready to use it.
