I did a vagus nerve stimulation exercise with my fingers on the back of my ears for 5 minutes for depression relief; i felt no change. Is it because i need to do it for 21 days straight as you said at the end of this video? Or rather do i need to do a vagus nerve reset exercise?

I've spent years trying to heal my mental health. I've only just recently discovered all of this information about the nervous system, specifically the vagal nerve. I'm actually finding relief for the first time and it feels like I may actually be able to gain some control over my life again. I was starting to believe that I would never heal. Two of my children are autistic and have extremely sensitive nervous systems, my 10 year old I believe exists in a chronic state of fight or flight....your content is giving me tools to not only help myself, but my children. Thank you, your work is deeply appreciated.

Thank you. I was amazed that you could do a teaching video right before an exam. Talk about practising what you preach! I hope the exam went well. You said we lose 60% of our cognitive something when we're in the fight/flight mode. (I forget the word, but I translate it to "brain power".) Thank you! No wonder I've had such severe mental fog and fatigue for the last umpteen years. So fab to have a tool to overcome that.

Is acupuncture good for the vagus nerve?
@JustinCaffreyАй бұрын
Yes, but please use a Chinese doctor and explain you would like them to work on your nervous system to promote parasympathetic state.
