This year in EU is terrible, my Kiwi dried up and withdrew it's growth - even most of the leaves fell off (many plants) . I've been watering it twice a week for 30 mins on a slow trickle - hoping it will show regrowth this autumn.

I enjoyed your video! I grow indoors in my bedroom under grow lights due to the cold winter here in Washington State. I’ve already planted 2 indeterminate tomatoes in a non circulating kratky method and also I have about 4 hot chili peppers also in a non circulating kratky method too. I have other pepper plants that I will be transferring to the double cup method. With the little space I have in my bedroom I’ll just have to settle planting in really small containers. I really enjoyed your video with the micro dwarf tomatoes. I will be ordering my seeds soon. Thanks for sharing your video.

I'm in the Pacific Northwest and have a couple of kiwi trees. We've had them for years. They were here before I moved in. I had no idea what to do about taming these crazy beautiful things. You're my 4 video on the subject and the most comprehensive and easy to follow out of all of them. Thank you. You really know your stuff 👍

thanks. so funny. I van in Vancouver, too. But I thought Boi Choi is a tropical plant being from Asia. Mine just bolted from double stressors 1) transplanting from shaded nursery to full sun 2) the bipolar weather we have.

How do you tell the difference between a " lateral" and " spur" ? They all look the same at that distance.

A chara, thank you for the awesome explanation. Best one I seen so far on pruning a kiwi. I have a self pollinating variety. Will be planting in the most sunny part of mo ghairdín in Éireann. Fan Slán

I really enjoy looking at other peoples ponds and fish. I have 4 koi ponds and a fish room with multiple tanks. My ponds are surrounded by decking and trees. If you would like to view them that's great. If not that's ok too. Thanks again for sharing and take care.

Senga, Is it necessary to blanch celery in varieties which it is usually done that way? Or can I just let it stay green?

Great advice - yes, alium flowers from bulbs are a great transitional plant following on progressively from earlier flowering bulb plants like daffodils, bluebells and tulips. Aliums come in a wonderful range of differing heights, flower head sizes and have a few different colours as well.

Will it regrow another celery from the roots still left there? Wondering if you could pot it up & put the roots inside a greenhouse and grow another celery from it.

Hi, what happens to perennials in NZ that in Canada or the northern US would go dormant in the winter? What happens without the deep freeze, or any below freezing temperatures at all?

From the very beginning of my life i saw this plant in Park. It;s attractive. Now i grow these plants in a confined pot. Medicinal value is noteworthy as it cures throat sore if you prepare herbal tea. Antibiotic. Flowers are edible and used in salads.

Someone in our community garden actually grew it from seed here in Ottawa this summer (2018), . I tasted it yesterday, pretty woody.
@mrs.t72542 жыл бұрын
Do you know, why was is woody?
@carolejackson83575 ай бұрын
@mrs.t7254 growing celery requires constant moisture. If it goes dry at all, it gets woody. Still good in long simmerd cooling. Delicious in brown rice with celery and onions.
