Hi teacher from Pennsylvania buddy Jeff. Another awsome video. Thank you for this video. Im opposite of a manatee. I love the cold. . . I hope they make it. 😊

These bugs (vectors) are saturated with biologically enhanced parasites. Parasites cause many dis-eases, and that creates profit for big pharma. I've seen a massive outbreak by my house (like around the front door & windows) in the middle of winter - when they wouldn't normally come out - gee, wonder where they're coming from? (chemtrails)? If you use diatomaceous earth, be careful not to inhale it or let pets inhale it. Generally when I see one, I catch it with duct tape, then wrap it inside the duct tape & put in trash.

So cool! I thought it was amazing that the manatees use power plant warm waters to survive, I know it's not as ideal as warming up with the natural springs, but I really appreciate when animals are adaptable to the ways humans change the environment. What makes the water so warm around the power plants? It's nothing that will harm the manatee is it?

Water is used only for cooling generators so not a chemical effluent at all. It may however recieve pulses of chlorine now and then to prevent biological fouling of small cooling pipes from molluscs and worms!

Hi Suburban Gardenista! How are things in southern Ontario we have amphibians stirring and skunk cabbage starting to come up! Unless you see the molt judging instars is sketchy total judgement call...like is it a large 2nd instar or a small third? Will you be rearing any or just observing in your butterfly gardens?

This was amazing Mr. Taylor. When I still lived in British Columbia as a young man I had a favorite lake to fish in the central part of the province. Many times I witnessed an Osprey diving and catching a rainbow trout and heading for the nest. One time this happened within thirty feet of my boat. Something I noticed in your video ...... the birds appear to have yellow eyes but the one at 6:31had brownish red eyes. Any reason why ? Does the sex of the bird play into this ?

We have ospreys on Douglas Lake, East Tennessee. They’ve been near my home just the past few years. Someone put a nesting platform at the end of the bridge a little way down the lake from us, and they’ve been coming back each year. We see them dive straight down in to the water. We also have eagles, but osprey are more numerous and easy to identify. Thank you for this interesting information.

Frank. You might not believe this. But a couple years ago on state game land 073. I watched a barred owl perched over a stream . It's called. Snake spring creek. It's comes out of the game lands. I sat there in the truck for about 15 minutes. The owl dropped down into the creek and had a brook trout about 8" long. I love my job. And where I spend my time. I feel closer to God in the wild lands. God bless

In the early 1970's my dad bought a old Standard Oil gas station that had been torn down with only the cement slab left. It was located next to a boggy field. He took out the cement slap and built a drive in fast food. For several falls at night hundreds of garter snakes would come up to to the back door. They were of all sizes. The removed slap must have been their winter den.

Bring roadkill next time 👀 As if they'll be a next time, I get it I've only seen them high up here in Minnesota unless gathered for carrion. I just looked up how the Minnesota DNR handles roadkill and they push it to the side of the road but on occasion it's taken for composting, which seems an odd choice of words when burial is needed unless left out for these majestic carcass disposalists. Perhaps a euphemism for the process of leaving critters out for critters to eat.
