Two observations from watching the video - first, the skyclub lines are why Delta is limiting access moving forward - there are just too many people who now have access to the skyclub. This has caused quite a stir with the Delta faithful. Second, we just flew this product from SLC to DCA - the seats are okay, but my issue was getting in and out of the seat - the little table and cubby hole near the floor make access more difficult than it should be if you are at the window. Great review as always.

Next time try the Sky Club by A6. It’s smaller but much quieter and relaxed. Also there is a shuttle bus taking you to the B gates.

Looks pretty impressive other than the lounge experience and a 45 minute taxi ! you can fly to Amsterdam from London Southend in about the same time 😉 , but that aside a good review and great to see another new Airbus in the Delta fleet.

Why are you saying there's no Access to the lounge with a first class ticket? I get access with a FC ticket.

Just flew this plane a couple of days ago. The IFE system has Bluetooth connectivity built in, no need for,your adapter. Available in First class only for now, but FA says that it will also be available in other classes later. Worked fine though it took me several attempts to link.

Two questions. What is the cover device over your GoPro? Also how is the audio quality when you use that Bluetooth adapter for the IFE?

The cover is a lens hood, to block out glare through the window. The Bluetooth adapter works well. I link it to my AirPods and get very good audio quality.

Biggest complaint (in my experience, and in the general consensus) is that these seats are not nearly as padded as they should be for First Class... I miss D1 on the routes this plane has replaced. Sadness :(

I thought 1st class came with more leg room at those prices. 🧐 I thought this was an awesome review. I felt like I was taking the same trip. Ugh even felt the slight anxiety at takeoff lol.

They’re adding the same first class seats, and adjustable headrests on every seat, to the 737-800 fleet, slowly but surely: a well needed upgrade that we waited maybe a bit too long for. Those were starting to feel a bit dated. They’ll never be quite A321 NEO level with that fancy mood lighting, but at least they get the new inflight entertainment system.

not funny only delta one passengers have free lounge access unless your a member and pay, 1st class has never guaranteed you to enter the lounge.

plastic cups always served when boarding taking off-drinks are served in glass once reached cruising altitude This has always been the norm. I take it you don't fly first class?
