Acually the WORST of Gege's writing with Todo. I know alot of people consider binding vows as just plot devices, but most binding vows have a definite range of consequence. But the way they've changed Todo's technique requires him to have almost a 300% increase in cursed efficiency to make any sense.

IMO the animation carried this episode, I don't like the storyboarding here. I think because I was expecting too much especially seeing from the Manga. I expected COC haki still oozing the moment Shanks was walking towards Kid's Crew, I expected Kid's crew passing out the moment the Griffin Aura came out, I expected a slashing aura of Coc haki slicing it's path the moment Shanks release it just like Rogers, I expected Henry Thurlow's Aokiji aura animation or Rayleigh's Aura facing Blackbeard like for Shanks, I expected Shanks crew standing menacingly looking at Kid's Crew the moment Rockstar called Shanks to get back to the ship. I don't know man, If I would be the one making the Storyboard I would really made it more badass and cold.

No. One of the best one piece episodes was Law vs Blackbeard. That was peak one piece and I wish more pirate crew encounters would play out like that. This episode is not bad though but not even close to as hype as the Law vs Blackbeard fight.
